Get some decent strength magnets and glue them in to top of trays in the triangle bits, that way its will hold it in place but it won’t damage the paint on the gantry handles

I'm in agreement with your thoughts about looking into the future especially with regard to farming and related businesses. On those gantry tool trays maybe bolt some bits of tight fitting channel that fit over the box section in the same place you mentioned magnets that will make them hang there snug. Best wishes for the new year!
