Cost per day for a person living in Bali! When looking online, we saw various budgets for what a typical day in Bali would cost, so we headed out to go and things in Bali and see how far our budget would get us.
We Stayed in a Homestay in Canggu, one of Bali's most popular spots, Had breakfast, lunch and Dinner, Got massages at a local spar and went to the beach to have some beers and watch the sunset at Canggu beach. The beach, however, turned out to be a lot different to what we expected!

I visited Bali many years ago. Went to a Hard Rock Cafe. You're like me; didn't know you could eat insides of sea urchins raw but, people rave about it being so good. I will try it someday ! Thanks for sharing your adventure and take care !

Indonesia is a good choice guys, this is a country of thousands of islands, one year is definitely not enough to visit all the islands. desire to visit Komodo Island to see these terrible lizards did not appear? I really don't know if it's easy to get there. But it's not necessary. Enjoy Bali.

People are so friendly in bali. What a life. Btw you must try the famous " warung cahaya" when you come to kuta. The food is so delicious and cheap like other "warung" but they sell balinese sambal matah pork and satay. Definitely have to try

maybe the cuisine in Indonesia proves to be delicious because of the mixture of spices / seasonings and the raw food ingredients are fresh because they are easy to obtain, such as chicken which is processed every day so believe me Indonesian street food is delicious and cheap

Basically, Bali now has all the owners of villas, restaurants, entertainment, especially Cangu..America, Australia and Russia. Don't be surprised that some places are expensive..Balinese people are just workers, not owners. Of all that exists..in Bali, the real cost of living there for one day for a family is 5 US dollars, which is more than enough for 1 family and applies to Indonesia.

When renting a scooter always check brakes, tires, lights, mirrors, helmets, electronics, fuel and above all note/photograph every scratch/dent/broken item. A motor “A” driving license including an international driving license (!) is mandatory!

77,000 for 2 lunches way too expensive! Average is 20,000/person ( rice/noodles+veggies+2 kind of protein) that's already included ice tea. Warung known for affordable home cook meal with variety of option. Last time it's only cost me 17,000. Unless you pick grilled/fried/curry seafood or beef rendang it might cost you little bit more. Even in Jakarta won't cost you that much.

Odd to see scooter folks tinkering SO, with the brand new bikes. That raised a bit of a red flag in my mind, to be honest with you. Riding filming on a scooter is a right good way to have your 'phone nicked, guys. People nick bags and phones right off of scooter riders, especially those persons riding on the backs of them.
