Mate I got the biggest shock of My life sitting in that beautiful place before it became the Fat Buddha. It was still the Baleka but I was on the piss with my wife and some friends when my mate who is 6ft2 built like brick shit house and looks like Ned Kelly, started singing, MATE none of us knew but the hard as nails prick has a voice like Pavarotti. Everyone froze in amazement including the staff. Will never forget it. Love the place.

How awesome is that hotel, we have always been looking for a great hotel to accommodate me and my wife for a getaway from our 3 kids. When we were younger we used to stay at Garden veiw, but have been looking for something new. We have now come to appreciate this area now where this hotel is located. You have found a gem there. So I am busting out 16 hour shifts nearly EVERY SINGLE DAY to get done early. Regardless if I win, I WILL be coming to Bali for 3-4 weeks... but not to relax. 🆗..true fact: never ever pay for anything in currency other than rupiah when ur in bali or anywhere in indonesia for that matter. The Indonesian government has made it illegal for any businesses that charge for goods and services in currency other than rupiah. That's just a cunning way for business owners in bali to charge their customers in dollars to gain higher profit margin. 🙄
