I used to like Seminyak but when we were there in September it was just soooo busy that it became a real pain to get around. Think I'll stick with Sanur 😂

I went to KuDeTa once, many years ago, that was my only time in Seminyak. The food wasn't too bad back then, around 2014 or so...

We were in Bali in May this year, the last time I was there was over 25 years ago. Its changed so much, but it's still an amazing place. Hoping to go back in 2025

I think Guardian Pharmacy is owned by Dairy Farm of Hong Kong (like Hero). It looks to be highly decentralised and Guardian Indonesia has its own production facilities. It could be a franchise, certainly there is a US franchise called Guardian, but I'm sure its a different company. Certainly its not British.

Really enjoyed this walking tour around Seminyak.Last time I was there was 17 years ago. So interesting to see the pavements there didn't used to be any !! We stayed in a villa up one of the gangs in the back.We ate in a lot of the restos Gado Gado,Lucciola both on the beach, drank cocktails and watched the sun go down -Bliss. Is Sarong still there? Beautiful food I think the chef was an Australian guy Will Merrick if my memory serves me right. Canggu was a sleepy place not much there apart from a few warungs down on the beach. We are coming back for our Silver wedding in March next year staying at the Melia (watched your vid ) A return to our honeymoon hotel 25 years ago.Some people can be critical of that area but for me it was a quiet oasis to return to after visiting other places around Bali with a private driver. Cant wait to return to the Land of Smiles and reconnect with the culture and the people. Namaste

We finally returned to Seminyak after 4 years early October . Whilst there a few of our old favourite places missing, it was nice to see a slow rejuvenation. Can’t lie, actually enjoyed slightly less traffic on Eat St!
