your video is really extraordinary, about the uniqueness of the Indonesian state and if this video info is directed to foreign tourists it is very valuable for them. but if there are more Indonesians watching, it will be less effective, and I suggest you use guides from Indonesians because they have much better knowledge and experience even though their English is not very good. the island of Bali is the window of heaven for Indonesia and Bali is just one of the best islands in Indonesia, of course there are thousands of other islands which are definitely very interesting to explore. enjoy heaven on earth.❤

Hi Maria! How was your trip in Indonesia so far? Hope you are safe and healthy wherever you go. If you have plans for an adventure in Kalimantan, it might be deeply regretted if you're miss to visiting Maratua Island, in Derawan Islands, Berau, East Kalimantan. It is known as the Maldives Island of Indonesia. You'll not only spend the all day and healing by enjoying the beautiful beach views, but you'll also have your own beach right behind your inn! You can snorkel, feed the fish, and even fishing on the public dock. Not far from there, you can also spend time to see Turtle sanctuary on Sangalaki Island, and if you're lucky you can also join with the official team to release baby Turtles into the sea. You can also swim with rare Jellyfish on Kakaban Island, and try diving in a lake which is the vibes just like the entrance to the world of Avatar, it's called Halo Tabung Lake. This lake is hidden in the middle of a fairly dense forest. Apart from that, on Derawan Island you can have fun playing with embossed sand at Gusung Beach, swimming and snorkeling with Turtles and Whale Sharks, and just relaxing or trying to swim in Labuan Cermin which is a lake with salt water underneath and fresh water on the top or surface. Maratua Island is still natural, even if you take a walk or maybe try cycling to along the village streets there you will still meet some Monkeys, Snakes, and Monitor Lizards. Even Crabs also crawl along the sand of beaches. What is certain is that the local people are pretty friendly, you can feel comfortable interacting with them. And the most important thing is the place is still not too crowded by foreign tourists. I'd say it's a slightly pricey exclusive trip. As additional information, the most expensive inns (villas or resorts) there are currently in the price range of 4 million - 5 million Rupiah (per night). Of course it seems that it will always be worth it with the services and facilities they offer. But don't worry, you can still choose lodging that suits to your budget because there will be several lodging options available, from fairly cheap to expensive ones. In addition, if you wish, you can continue your journey to Central Kalimantan with take a houseboat tour to the famous Orangutan sanctuary, at Tanjung Puting. You will get an unforgettable adventure experience by renting a trusted houseboat company and adventure with an experienced and friendly guide and houseboat crew as well for approximately 4 days and 3 nights. You will stop at the local resident's village and explores there, pass several camps in Tanjung Puting National Park, and visit Leakey Camp which is known as the largest OrangUtan sanctuary site.
