It was a boarding gate, not the check in counter.. If your ticket says that you need to re checkin your luggage than you would require a transit visa if not than you can ask Indian checkin counter to directly transfer your baggage 🧳 please subscribe

@@thatprettycouple my ticket was same as your's Air India & jet star on same pnr but jet star said that your luggage have been transferred but you have to do re check in that's why i asked check in counter available inside transit area

For this journey PNR was same, but it can be different also, check while booking your flights

We had only one PNR for each trip.. There was no transit visa that was required. While you are booking your tickets, if it says that transit visa is required than you would need it otherwise you can ask transfer desk available at airport to get your baggage and get it transferred at time of boarding next flight.

@thatprettycouple So, at the airport, this transfer desk is available in the international transit area, and i need to get my buggage from there and transfer it to other airlines tranfer desk and re-check there, right? And i also get my boarding pass form there only

We have flight from indore to bali and having layover of 3 hours having same PNR throughout the joirney , we have airindia till singapore and jetstar from singapore to bali have to change terminal from T2 to T4 . We checked with airline even though our ticket didn’t mention for transit visa and recheckin of luggae but airline said we have to recheckin and go through immigration So do we need visa ? Even though we have same PNR ?😊
