It just helps the crop flow into the pick up better.

Is there any delay between the time your full Alarm goes off, till the wrapping starts? I am looking at a 7060 right now. With the John Deere I have there is a 4 second delay before the wrapping starts. Just wondering.

Yes there is a delay it is so if you’re making a corner or trying to get stopped it can feed in a little bit hay before it starts wrapping an make a nice bale still.

Are there any rules or precautions you deal with on feeding that Sudex out as far as dry hay?

Just make sure you cut before frost try to get it as dry as possible so it don’t mold. That’s about it.

@@michiganhay7844 no not really with this stuff it’s not a true sudex it’s a hybrid piper cross they call it safe “T” graze very low prussic acid. We get it out of Nixa Missouri. This is our second year to grow it haven’t had any issues with cattle. The horse ate some an got stiff so we don’t let them eat it.

@@4MRanch OK that’s interesting I’ll have to look that up they just scare the hell out of here when you start watching all the stuff in here and all the warnings about it I fed it in the past and grazed it in the past never had any problems why do you think the horses gas staff did they just stock up or heat up their feet?

Well we live in Oklahoma and it’s been about 100 to 109° now for a week straight and our safety t graze that we got drilled in the pasture is about only thing green that’s left and the cows an calves are being rotationally grazed on it and Have been doing just fine so far. There horse had no visible swelling or heat. They just seemed very stiff legged an didn’t want to move They had joint inflammation we where guessing gave them some bute an took them off the safe t graze an they where fine in 24 hours.
