Torpe ako sa mga bilang ng mga torpe kaya dinaan ko na lang sa kanta ung pagpaparamdam ko sa babaeng kinahumalingan ko nun...We became good friends and eventually she’s the best amongst my best of friends...and yes! Sinagot nya ko... 10 years ago we got married and this is the theme song of our treasured relationship. We even use this as our bridal dance.. After 2 kids and uncountable adventures, all the highs and lows, i still go crazy over her. ‘Ika nga nila, there will always be a song for us. Salamat Sir Rico for creating a song that helped me alot to get the girl of my dreams... she’ll always and forever be my “Balisong”.

This song will always remind me of someone. I dated this guy, and when we found each other, we were both a mess. But I never met someone who treated me right. So I tried love again with him and it was wonderful. But like any other relationship, it wasn't perfect, and we aren't perfect people. I love him so much that I stayed, and damn I was patient. I knew he is trying and it wasn't his fault, but it came to a point when I cannot take it anymore. I let him think I did what he thought I did, and it ended us. This song? I never knew before i was playing this with my guitar when i was 6 years old. Then, when I grew up-realizing things through general and specific. I kindly search for this song because I thought the Balisony is like a rock song but when i heard it all through? I kinda like it and wanted to loop over and over. Because the voice of mr. Rico blanco was so fantastic when I'm at work? It still play inside my head that it keeps running even there's nothing for me to use. A year later, I found a woman, she's the best of bestest. I never knew that this girl or woman would be my love of my life, and then i try to ask her if i can court her. This song I remember first. I told her that " it not just a title but the lyrics itself brings you." Then, after she listened to-she was so happy that a bright smile can't explain why. She tolde that " Exploring the world of someone is much a special thing that no one could offer for. " Here we are! Together, living, happily ended up together with our own dreams reaching our greatest goals, focusing our own career and life for our better future. I hope this song never gets old and be forgotten by the next generation. Can't forget the first lyrics it pointed out. Adios!

Maybe the song meaning is sad for Mr Rico (if the madla is right about their hint..), but this would be our pre-wedding song :) When the part of the song said 'wake up fool, this fairytale got to end' it means to me to take courage and make it come true.. And the lyrics said itself, so me and my husband decided that this song is what we want :) BTW: me and my husband are childhood enemy but I always dream about him, its a secret and he didnt know, but when we found each other in FB, he never let me go again :) I cant wait to do the photoshoot and for our wedding this Oct, I just hope the pandemic wouldnt ruin it 😅😅

I remember one of their interviews when this came out. If I remember correctly, Rico said a friend was asking for "pasalubong" from when they went to Indonesia (or somewhere else, can't remember). Since he didn't have any, he gave this and entitled it Balisong ("Bali" song). ☺
