Hello, Glad to see your videos. All your travels are perfectly filmed then edited, the most complicated/time consuming is the M&E part as you mentioned. I come from a 40 years of "video tape" editing then I did film editing. Trust me, if you loose your day job you could always go into the film/tv business. Your filming quality has improved so much. Many people mentioned that it would be interesting to see how you get to the final edited version of your show and yes it would be for most but again so much time consuming for you! Fantastic job anyway. Cheers

Thank you very much Patrick for the kind words - maybe I will do a behind the scences video on the editing part but it will likely take a while as I am trying to work through TB of video material at the moment 😉

@@MotoVibes Don't worry. Keep posting the "today's" videos. If you had an editor(s) that could put together the "director's cut" it would be fantastic but it would be an expensive project and it would not be yours! Keep it the way it is! You film the way you know, you edit the way you know and like! We watch it, we love it and if someone does not like your final product let them watch the Three Stooges reruns. Cheers

Very nice Video again, i like. how did you fix the remote control of the drone on the motorcycle
@MotoVibes3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! First I mounted the remote with velcro on the tank bag - but I would get connection losses with that - so I DIY'd a GoPro mount with a quick release mount glued to the back of the remote. This gave the remote more room to keep the connection to the drone. btw. I use 2 different drones - the tracking shots are all with a Skydio 2

Great work, very pleasant to watch. Can you make behind the scenes video to see how you prepare and record all of the footage because I think that is hard work.
@MotoVibes3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much - yes, it does take a lot of time to do one of these edits. It is not just the editing itself but finding and choosing music and screening the hours of video material alone take a while. Other than that my editing process is probably not that different from what everyone else does - clip by clip on the timeline to built a draft video including the intro, then a passes of audio cleanup, levels and filters, a pass of color adjustmet of every clip, a pass for text elements and then a final pass to cut excess clips out. By the time I am done I have watched the video so many times that I know evey little clip in it 😂 maybe I will do a video on this some time.
@OverLordkv3 жыл бұрын
@@MotoVibes yeah, I thinking about recording my trips, but editing scares me. I know how to use video editing software, but don't have practice to be fast enough for video like this, and I know that my enthusiasm will vanish :D Because of that I ask you to make some video about video edit with some tips & tricks how to speed up process. First of all did you record for example some nice road 50km or just parts of it etc. Best regards from Serbia!
@MotoVibes3 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean - I was very intimidated by the learning curve to learn the basics of editing but also the time it takes to edit a video. Now the first part - learning to use a software - is a one time time investment and basics can be learned in a few weeks. Depending on how creative you want to get with a video, the editing will still take a lot time even when you know what you are doing. It will get faster too but only to a point. If you want to get started I can recommend the GoPro Quik App - it does much of the heavy lifting and can edit video clips to music etc. - also it gives you some control of the final result - the App is free for smartphones and you can get very nice results quickly. One of my first videos on this channel was edited with Quik kzbin.info/www/bejne/gonbeKOHn6qFeNU So, do not let this hold you back from recording your rides. if you use a GoPro the Quik App works even better as it can automatically find the most exciting parts of your video and get you good looking results quickly. Once you hit the limit with what Quik can offer you can start looking at editing software 😉

@MotoVibes3 жыл бұрын
