My Mind is blown - thank you for showing the basics of shapes!! I can't do this in my CAD program - well I can but the objects when created are difficult to manipulate on the fly. The software just isn't programmed in that way. I have a few questions. Please pardon me, I'm a total novice at Revit - looking at new CAD & modelling software platforms. Questions are: 1. Do you use the typically "recommended" hardware setup from Revit AutoCad or go beyond it? 2. Do you recommend 2 GPU cards or just one? 3. How does Revit compare to 3D Blender? (A program I'm looking into using) 4. are there as many textures as used in Blender? 5. Can you export Models to Blender, if so, do they translate as a 3D Model or as a 2D object? Thank you in advance for your input - I'll keep watching!!!

Hi Balkan, your tutorial was so impressive, clear and easy to understand. I prefer to watch and learn all the things that I do not know about Revit. Do you offer course online? How do I access, what qualification do you offer after completing and how much is the online fee?

Thanks a lot for all your help .. Also I have a question I created a complicated surface but when I upload it into the project, this error appears "mass contains only mesh geometry which can't be used to compute mass floors, volume, or surface area" .. So I can't create a roof out of it .. I searched for the solution a lot and it seems that I have to convert it to 3D solid geometry so how can I convert it or how can I solve this problem with any other methods

@Balkan Architect I need help. I love your short tutorials and thinking about subscribing you but I would like to find out first if there is a solution to this conundrum. Question refers to 3D sweep. I created 3D path, used picked edges (pick path), added profile...and all looks good apart from the part that the profile is rotated around the path. It means that at the and of the sweep it is in different position with reference to the path (rotated around). I think I checked everything on the internet and nope...no solution so far. HELP ! :D

Great. Many thanks for that. I am learning on Revit MEP 2019 (having used AutoCAD MEP 2019), and I can create a cube and once created, I can resize the length, width, and height of the cube, but I cannot as yet put any values on it. For example, if my cube was 1,000mm × 1,000mm × 1,000mm, how do I reshape my cube so that it now has the dimensions of, say, 2,000mm × 750mm × 250mm? Many thanks.
