This was very good timing .I recently had two heat mats fail. I just thought one of the snakes had gone off food only to find the matt was no longer working . Great video as usual .

Thank you! I'm glad it was useful. Having mats fail is a pain, but I'm glad that it didn't turn into a hazardous situation for you (asides from the snake going off food of course)

Thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate the feedback and it's great to know I'm reaching people as far away as Calgary (which also happens to be in a region on my bucket list to visit)!

You mentioned that it's not ideal to NOT have heating overnight, but what I've been trying to figure out is an acceptable overnight ambient temperature in the room your snake is in. For example, if your ambient room temp drops overnight to say 72-73 degrees F, that means that the cooler end of a tub or enclosure will be very close to or the same. Are those temps too cool in your experience if the back of their tub or their hide/ hotspot is still up around 88-90 degrees F?

Hi and thanks for watching! No, if the warm spot is still at 88-90f the snake will go there to stay warm and be perfectly fine. It's when there is no heat whatsoever that problems can start 🙂

Can you do a video showing all of your animals😊

Yes, that sounds like a great idea! I only have around a dozen left now, but there are some interesting ones 🙂
