This is gonna sound weird, but I love that you know your players names. I'm in year 8 of my create a school dynasty, playing moments, and I keep an Excel database of school records (single game, season, and career, including pancake blocks), and past players who made big contributions to the program. I can't pick guys out during the game, but just last night I was going through it and having fond memories of names and numbers on a screen. One of the better parts of the game.

Hey Max. Fyi short field goals from the right hash are really hard for right footed kickers. So you really have to angle the kick when you're on the right hash up close. Left hash up close not as much. It's just the fact he kicks with his right foot. Opposite for left footed kickers but I don't think left footed kickers are in the game.

@@maxplayscfb Right on my man! Also, I assume the Ball State rebuild will definitely be a long-term one (at least I hope so, the more seasons the better!), but after it’s done, would you be interested in potentially doing a Colorado State rebuild? I’m from Colorado so it would be super cool to see you do a team from there, and CSU has been down pretty bad for a while now haha they are due for a major rebuild. Also they run air raid and they have a super fun young QB, just thought it might be a good option for another rebuild once you come around to that (definitely no pressure though, please keep doing Ball State for as long as you can, we love it!). Much love man, you are such a stud at this game dude and I can’t stop watching your content! 💪

The best run play in the game for me is 45 quick base (Guns trips) in Oregon’s playbook. Consistently 4-6 yards and occasionally breaks for big plays. Surprisingly effective for scoring in the red zone. Use it for all my dynasty rebuilds
@maxplayscfb15 күн бұрын
Interesting, I’ve actively avoided the 45 quick base
@garrettj41214 күн бұрын
@ it’s the only one with a moving guard that doesn’t immediately get blown up. You can’t sprint until you hit the secondary. Honestly you could run the entire offense with that as a base and it’s standard audibles

At 29:53, you need to I.D. the Mike as the far left DB or the edge rusher. You let the auto I.D. be the mlb and so that TE just run straight up to him and ignored the DB busting the play!!!

It’s always tough switching up offenses, especially when you have such a wide variety to pick from now. The Veer and Shoot plays are extremely effective but I learned you have to play offense a little bit differently. It’s going to be an interesting watch going forward!

the key to a good defense (against no huddle offenses) is picking a defensive set that allows you to switch look ex. would be Nickle so you can perhaps come out double mug at first but switch through to cub or over or even or other versions of Nickle by using Left/Right D-Pad during the audibles This usually gives you some more options like a Cover 4 or Cover 3 drop or Cover 2 invert. Mayber something you gotta really start looking at.
@adamgeigerjr699518 күн бұрын
and I told you last episode (the playbook one) that the Bunch Quads was OP ... although limited options the hot routes are always a thing as well. But yeah the defense just does not know how to handle it. Its either very open out there or very open up the gut. They're forced to choose.
@adamgeigerjr699518 күн бұрын
last comment I swear but dude ... there's no way you decided not line up a more centered FG attempt at the end there lmfao you should know from the AI missing from that close with that tough of an angle so often. Great recovery and win though. Loving the chronicle playbook despite Magwood's lack of involvement (perhaps changing assignments so he's your touch pass receiver more often)

Imma be real with you gang… The same effort you put into your Offense you gotta get in the practice….the cpu not really bailing you out you got some good guys on D that make plays… Try to find your “go-to” defense’s based on situations. Go in practice and play D against plays you see often in games. I love how you get aggressive when it’s time to blitz but you gotta find more variety.

@@maxplayscfbwhen we design our own playbooks, we have a tendency to put all the fancy stuff in, but lose sight of the bread and butter. My suggestion is to take out about half of the new stuff.
