there appears to be three requirements to use the songs 1st you need magical aptitude 2nd you need to know the song 3rd you need to know its meaning like how the windmill guy is playing the song of storms whenever you go to the windmill but it wont work for you until he teaches you its meaning along with the song

I just assumed the man lacked the magic for the song's power to manifest. It would be like trying to cast a spell if you didn't have the magic to use it. You could go through all the correct motions, but nothing would happen.

@@PixelFusionProductionswell they knew the song and they knew the meaning so the logical conclusion is lack of magic also i could be completely wrong i haven't done a deep dive into the topic yet

I think the Composer Brothers theory is a better outcome than "developers made a mistake".
@PixelFusionProductions11 ай бұрын
It really is. I'm not convinced this was their intent though. I think it's very possible they were making a mistake based on superficial references, an perhaps lucked out that there is lore to explain it. Of course, that might be an underline truth to the entire series...

That wolf Link and Midna Amiibo is one of my favorite ones! I remember when I got the HD _Twilight Princess_ game, and upon reading that the developers hinted that there was a special prize or reward hidden behind it for _Breath of the Wild_ that would be better depending on how much health you had left during your best run upon completing the Cave of Shadows, I set out on the mission to complete it with full health..........And, that is how I got myself a 24 Heart Wolf Link companion in _Breath of the Wild......._

I'm sad there is no wolf link on TotK. Loved him tagging along.

@@19TheFallen I always thought of the phrase when he disappeared, "Wolf Link has returned to his world." Was interesting. It implies that Wolf Link isn't from the past or future, but from a different continuity altogether. Hmm... I wonder if Epona is too. This could be worth investigating.

Memory serves it’s mentioned that the hero winds is the hero of time reborn. If that’s the case, then he may simply know that song from another lifetime. Obviously, I know about the three timelines, but my guess is once you die in the Zelda universe. your spirit goes to a sort of. after life that is connected to all the timelines
@PixelFusionProductions6 ай бұрын
That's not the case, WW Link is just a boy. The purpose of the story is to show that a normal person can full the role of a hero, and doesn't need to be bound by destiny. Granted, they jump through the hoops to make him fill that role, but he is not the reincarnation of the Hero if Time. The Hero of Time and his reincarnation cycle was broken by Zelda at the end of a Ocarina. The prologue for the game makes this very clear. The Hero of Time (or a new hero) failed to appear leading to calamity.

The Composer Brothers theory is what I have thought from the get go.

I had originally ruled it out because the song came from Cyclos. However, when I noticed the Shiekah Symbol on all the Howling Stones, it changed my mind. It makes enough sense to me that they could have discovered the song, even if Cyclos discovered it on his own in a different timeline. The idea that these songs are just magic spells really makes sense. I'm happy to see that the line from Sharp in Ocarina basically explains that. I need to revisit that updated translation in the 3DS version though.

@@PixelFusionProductions After playing Twilight Princess, I simply figured Cyclos learned it from the Composers. But, I agree that the music as magic spells does make a lot of sense. It also makes some events more plausible/possible, such as the song of storms. I like the spell theoy.

Never made the correlation for Ballad of the Gales being in another timeline. I wonder if the Sheikah symbol is them acknowledging this.

It would seem a lot of people didn't recognize it and the Goron's Lullaby. Some wikis mark the two songs as question marks. I still think that they chose the song without thinking of timeline knowledge. Is so, they lucked out thar there is a connection to make sense of it.

These songs shouldn’t be used as mere evidence to 100% prove the hero’s shade is the hero of time, and are just what they are, references
@PixelFusionProductions10 ай бұрын
It doesn't 100% prove it, but it is evidence for the identity of the Shade. I believe him to be the Hero of Time. I know others, specifically the guys over at Channel N are opposed to this idea, and they have some points. I think it is far more interesting of a world if it was the Hero of Time and not some random nameless hero.

@@PixelFusionProductions I see your point, I do believe he is the hero’ shade, I just don’t see the songs as mere evidence
@PixelFusionProductions10 ай бұрын
@@Twin_cia They are songs that he would know. Well, except the Ballad of Gales, which I address in this video. In this video, it is less about me trying to prove he is the Hero the Time from the songs, but more that the Songs may have been connected to him with the Howling Stones creation. ...This is especially true of the Sheikah are practically extinct.
