The piece was written during the Polish Great Emigration (1831) which Chopin was a part of. The emotions are probably rooted in his knowledge that he wouldn't see Poland ever again.

+Gina Daelrym Honestly, sorry, it kinda is, it's certainly much easier than most people think, when all you need to play it is, at minimum, 4 years of common practice, a good ear, and some basic techniques for playing fast. I find the annoying kids that end up on every video saying "how is this even possible lol scary :d" much more annoying. Good thing they mostly only listen to Beethoven anyway. Chopin and Liszt are much better.

Jimmy Rodriguez I really didn't word this right at all did I. Ok so I myself learned about 70% of this piece within a few weeks and I've never had a single piano lesson so I KNOW it isn't impossible. I was literally just dissing all the people commenting "ew weeaboos are ruining Classical Music" by comparing them to something I found annoying. Goodbye and I'm done with this comment thread.

A sigh of a mother who has lost her only child, grief of abandonment, a wish in despair to see your country again.. it is so heart breaking. Oh Chopin and music makes human intellect something to be proud of.

at 1:51 you have to play FADmnF 5 times in your left hand. Here, it sounds warm, but when I play those notes, it' sounds sharper and not right. Is it really those keys?

1:51 I can reach an 8th but why is that 4 note chord so hard to manage? I can still reach it and it’s possible but it needs finger adjustment and reach effort. Any tips on that? How can I manage it? Stretching exercises? Chord exercises? Oh and i’m merely a square one begginer right now, just very recently started playing piano and practicing. I am figuring that chord out because it got my interest while looking at the synthesia.
@Rose-zg9pu5 жыл бұрын
I guess practicing those kinds of chords a lot will help. The Rachmaninoff prelude in c sharp minor has those massive chords too at the end. At first i could barely reach the chords, but after 2/3 weeks of practice i am now perfectly able to reach them.... So good luck practicing! I do think doing warm up at the piano helps too and stretching might help.
