i played the mobile port years ago, its way harder than it looks, and its very fun. i only remember that when your ball cracks is outer layer the weight also changes, which could affect movement

Everything about this game gives me chills that are somehow both unsettling and exciting. The psychedelic, dreamy aesthetics and atmosphere, the crisp sound effects, the mystical but fun and sometimes uncanny music. I become entranced by this simple but desolate, abstract world. Will always be one of my all time favorite games.

Theres something very eerie about this. I mean, theres only ambience playing in the background, and no other sound besides the player (the ball) rolling and moving a few objects. Along with the occasional minor sounds such as the dinging sounds (or however they're called...) Hell, theres not even a single sight of the surface beneath the platforms. Meaning that if one accidentally falls off of the platforms, they will likely be falling for a long time until they plummet into solid land.

The game has a strange feeling indeed. Not creepy but not relaxing. You're on the edge of falling too so it's a bit stressing too. When I was a kid I very liked this game, but "Switchball" came not too long after, and the vibe is way more upbeat than Balance.

I think I finally at least rediscovered *one* game, that I used to play in the library as a kid. There are so many ball-rolling games out there, but I'm quite sure this was the exact one! (Onwards to finding some SpongeBob shareware that had the Goo Lagoon in it, some racing game featuring European looking highways with occasional jumps on the sides, with (unsure) Carmageddon style 'driver reaction cams' and the (very Carmageddon) ability to run over deer or other crossing wildlife.)

I finally found it I saw some videos on this game (at least I’m pretty sure) like a decade ago but I didn’t remember the title and I could never find it again, and now this just pops up in my recommendations.
