Ballarat Saleyards | Sheep and Goat Electronic Identification

Ballarat saleyard is the largest saleyard in Victoria where eID has been mandatory for sheep and goats since 2017.
NSW DPI invited agents from Victoria to share their experiences with NSW agents and producers in this video and in an online Q+A session held on 20 March 2024.

The eID in Action series captures authentic stories from the sheep and goat industry as NSW moves to eID for sheep and farmed goats. The aim is to illustrate both the challenges and benefits of this transition, fostering interest, understanding, and offering valuable advice for the industry.
