I have a question. D2 Ask for microrganism less tan 50 um and greater than 10 um per mililiter, but the actual concentration measure for this types of organism are cel per liter. is it posible this is some kind of error? I've done calculations with samples taken directely from the tanks and i have obtained concentration less than 1 cel per mililiter.

Hi Chritian, I am not very sure about the question, however I would try my best to answer what I understood. 50micrometer(um) or 10um are seperate requirements either one or the other... If organism is small in size then higher concentration is fine like 10 viable organisms per millilitre if size less than 50um... 1cel is cfu I guess, which colony forming unit, which is actually required to be less than 1cfu per gram, refer D2 para 2.1.... This concentration is seperate from viable organisms, this concentration of indicator microbes concentration, a different test requirement.
