what a lovely way to celebrate the mid-autumn festival!! what precious footage for Alice!!! wow. love hearing the feedback and seeing you work on the steps! & that little sneak peek of how the cheshire cat forms is so neat, i love the set design/costumes for the ballet so much. really hoping to see you perform it if I am able to make the dates work! guess we won't find out which dancers are performing when so i'll wait and hopefully there'll be tix left! :)

Thanks for sharing the footages from rehearsals of "Alice". Love them so much! And hahahahaha I cannot wrap my head around eating a mooncake "whole" even if it's a mini one. I am one of those weirdos who must cut them up into little sections lol😅

I'm in my 20s but I have started an adult ballet class :) Alice in Wonderland looks so fun! Your avocado stuffed animal is so cute. It's so much bigger than any other Jellycat brand plushies I have seen in stores ❤

One of the hard parts about the Alice role, besides the fact you are onstage for most of the ballet, is that it takes a strong performance to stand out from all of the other things that are happening on the stage. It’s a very “busy” ballet, with action happening all over the stage and special effects going on, there’s not much just posing happening. It’s better now that it’s 3 acts rather than just two, that original 1st act was sooooo long.

I have seen Alice before onstage and I know dancing her role is very exhausting for the ballerina because she has to stay onstage for pretty much the whole show w the exception of intermission. Make sure to build the stamina you need for your performance
