Taking a beginner adult ballet class has made me realise it finally doesnt matter what my thighs look like cause I'll get nowhere metaphorically or literally in ballet without leg strength. Another thing is I wanna do ballet to express repressed emotions stored in my body, I wanna do it for the little fragile girl I used to be, so it doesnt matter if I dont like what I see in the mirror. I've been thinking about how little kids dance out of joy, not to look pretty, I will try my best to do that too. It doesnt matter what I look like, I just wanna express myself. Thank you for inspiring me 🌸✨

I’ve been dancing my whole life and I only started being self conscious about my “whale thighs” after people started asking me why I don’t feel self conscious about them BUT my friends in dance also have ✨thick thighs✨and it makes me feel better to know they feel fine about them aswell
