Huh, I thought the opposite. I was impressed that she had no hypo or hyper extension or flex, in her legs anyways. I'm no pro so maybe I got it wrong. I'll have to research. If I did mis speak a bit I appreciate that this comment guided me to double check. I don't like to spread wrong information even if it is only in a random compliment in a comment. But yes most happens based on how the dancer dances. Twins separated at birth were brought back together 25 yrs later and sperated before reuniting. They were asked a series of things but one was to do a basic dance bop to the music, a like they'd do at home kinda dance. The body dictates how we move. All the sets of twins asked pretty much did the same movements. The same dance. So it's the way each individual works their steps, offsets the dance styles common movements that don't flow organically with their body, not lean rely heavily on ingrained strengths/favs and or moves that come natural, exercising the movements that have to be done regularly/daily or the body will loose the muscle memory quickly (it's weird but it's usually only one or two movements), ect. That's the stuff that adds character to a dancers body. The acquired accents of a dancing body.

Looking at it again it might just be the angle of her ankles making her leg look more hyperextended than they actually are. Idk. Other ways it’s pretty!

Yea I’ve noticed she’s not very feather like u less she’s on points. But I guess is just because she’s in a more relaxed environment. I’d say in a performance she’d be more in character. I’ve done ballet when I was younger so I can definitely relate to that more relaxed and maybe even masculine aura when not performing and therefore not in character. I think is just a personality thing.

The last photo is amazing, im not a ballet person, i do know they are the strongest in workout than any sports. Most people don't know that, IMHO. This photographer is excellent, and her work testifies this. She is very focused and confident about what will look good according to each person. She draws out the very best in whom she shoots.

It's nice to know how petite Prima Donnas are. Here, we have a stage hand as a reference to her height, which I estimate to be about 150cm. The camera angle makes her appear much taller. Her being perfectly proportional also helps! So ladies don't feel awkward. Life is unfair!

Anytime these shorts pop up I HAVE to watch. They are soo beautiful. I was a dancer for so long and took soo many photos but they way you communicate and help develop the pose, I wish I had someone like you back then
