Makarova had a way of doing this that was especially noticeable in her White Swan pdd. I remember from her autobiography saying they largely let her into Vaganova at the advanced age of 14 because even without training she could get her legs up round her ears, but I'm wondering if the twist-o-flex shoulder joints that allow this are also a requirement! 😂

Светлана - хорошая балерина, я постоянно хожу в Большой и хоть бы разок увидеть. Всё-таки обидно. Ну, пусть хоть на Западе порадуются, а мы и по телевизору посмотрим.

@@__IvaNova__ Она редко бывает в России. А в каких балетах Большого театра она сейчас занята? С каким балетом она приезжала в Мариинку? Я начала ходить в Большой театр после ковида. Была на 8 балетах. Она приезжала в апреле прошлого года. Было где-то, примерно, три спектакля, не классика, а современные, поставленные специально для неё.

@@Славянка-й8ц ну, после ковида, это, конечно, всего ничего)) я хожу на балет с детства, у меня всегда абонемент. Последний раз была Баядерка, если мне память не изменяет...а может быть и Жизель. Но До этого и Анна Каренина была. Она к нам приезжает раз в год стабильно. Не знаю, как в Большом, а у нас незадолго до спектакля уже состав известен, так что желающие могут подкараулить желанного артиста

@@__IvaNova__ я в крайний раз тоже была на Баядерке. Состав артистов не известен. Думаю, что если позвонить и спросить, то скорее, скажут, поскольку программки печатают заранее. Но Захаровой там всё равно не будет. Ей 43 года. У меня не было возможности ходить на балет с детства. А сейчас - ложа. Обменов спектаклями БТ и Мариинки не было 20 лет. А сейчас Гергиев привёз Мариинку и мне удалось послушать и Ночь перед Рождеством и Хованщину. "Хованщина" в Мариинке - супер!
