Was at the game. MD receivers got shook once Bosco start coming back. They had more drops in that one game than the the other games combined. But the MD coaches played a huge role in this loss. You cannot continue to drop back and throw up by over 20 points. MD thought the game was over 28-5 and got overconfident. You have to take some air out of the ball and run or go to the quick game to bleed the clock. This game was 3.5 hours long with Bosco having the ball 2 to 1 time of possession. That's why the MD pass rush was non existent in the 2nd half. But those dropped passes was killer. I think if they play 10 times MD win 8 but Bosco only needed one. Congrats Bosco any other team would have folded down 28-5.

Yeah and alot of that imo was the crowd. Bosco side was roaring while MD side was rather tame & quiet. As the crowd got louder Bosco confidence grew & they scored 34 unanswered points. MD side was pretty quiet & the players were shaken. They lost their confidence. Amazing game 💯

I remember getting mad at the IMG game yelling at the crowd saying how the hell can I have a casual conversation with the person next to me, I shouldn't be able to hear myself talk. Very supportive but not rowdy at all pretty spoiled. But when you have 130+ CIF championships they think the other team is scared of the uniform.

was gonna go to the game but looked sold out on Gofan. So saw it on primeticket. Three plays that decided the game were: 1.That awesome athletic deflection by the lineman who incredibly intercepted the pass as it came down. That pass was never meant to be a turnover but he willed it into existence . 2.Early in the third quarter, i think, a penalty gave SJB a first down on 4th and 4 as they were punting. A huge mistake impacted the overall game. 3.After SJB got stuffed on 4th down in the 4th, that clutch sack with Bosco's backs to the wall that caused BY to fumble. That's called defense steppin' up! Overall a classic game ala AlabamaAuburn style, now let's get it on with DLS

Looks like Bosco’s defense played better than MD, and that was the difference Bosco’s receivers were open more, and made the big catches. Bryce couldn’t find receivers open at times, and got sacked. Plus he didn’t have big runs. Bosco kept him in check for the most part. A great season down the drain for Mater Dei. They had a chance to be the best team ever. if SJB plays like this, they will win DLS rather easy, much like the last several open state championships. I’m not sure if DLS can beat Corona Del Mar. CDM looked very impressive beating Grace Brethen rather easily, and Grace Brethen is a solid team.

I don't know how many people where in attendance but the last time I went to see a game of #1 Southlake Carroll vs #2 Miami Northwestern, there was 41,000+ at SMU Stadium. Then was at the Highest Attendance Football Game where 54,347 were in attendance. Texas draws avg. 41-50,000+ for games not even Nationally ranked. Football has always been bigger in Texas then Cali.
