This was a 6A vs 5A non divisional Pre-Season Game that the people had been asking for and the coaches made it happen. It was kinda like watching a 147lb fighter fight above his weight class. To be the best you got to beat the best and D-Ville won hands down, both of these teams played great defense, they both sputtered occasionally on Offense and they both committed unnecessary penalties. This was a great sold out game to watch. My son plays for SOC #25, he gave up 6 towards the end of the game that was hurtful but it still was a great game in my opinion.

Your son is an incredible athlete. Highly difficult situation your son was placed in on that roll out - win some and lose some. He'll learn from that one. The line was won and lose by SOC O-line. One of the, if not the most technical positions is rarely captured by a high school offensive linemen. Some of the best athletes on the field (the D-Line from Dville), verse probably the least gifted athletes, and I don't say that lightly. The entire offense of SOC was decimated by literally not having time to develop a play.

Lol I'm under the goal post at 11:30 Overall a good game for the most part, had a coach tell me this was Duncanville best defense in years. I was impressed with Soc defense, well coached defense and secondary. Very young at backer that's good. Would of liked to seen a lil more passing to the wideouts from Soc but first game the QB has to be comfortable. Good physical game from both and liked the play calling for the most part.

Duncanville looked undisciplined(multiple unsportsmanlike conduct flags, including one on a fourth down) they should’ve beaten them by more but this score will tell a false tale on how close the game was. Dville lost the QB unfortunately too. Soc lost but gained and learned. Dville won but lost a QB and showed lack of hunger to finally get a ring.

@ryanmccarthy86252 жыл бұрын
@@wwstn47 I've already seen the stats and no, I'm not trolling. King has the potential to become one of the top 10 teams in the state and even champions sometime in the near future. You can't necessarily judge a team like that, based off of a few losses during the regular season. But if you watched the game on KZbin or live at NRG Stadium, you'd see that the Panthers were actually holding their own pretty well until the 3rd quarter. Shit, they were actually ahead by 6 points for a short time. From what I've seen, all they have to do is work on their speed, hand-eye coordination, refrain from false starts and grabbing face masks, as well as a few other simple things.
The ONLY school from Houston that’s competitive in a game that actually matters is NS.

@@marcvslicinivscrassvs7536 I don't see any reason why the top Texas teams couldn't head out west on a flight. Despite what a lot of dumbass naysaying shit talkers out there claim, Texas boys aren't afraid to face out of state competition. The scheduling ultimately falls into the hands of each respective school's athletic director or head coach. As for De LaSalle, it's possible that they could win some more state titles in Cali but I don't think that they could ever top the ridiculously long winning streak that they once had.
