Perhaps others have commented on the fact that Rex does the combinations with his hands. I never noticed that before and I've never seen another class pianist do that. It's a testament to how attuned Rex is to the movements and the music that best suites them. Thank you so much for your beautiful music, Rex!

I've been watching Van Damme videos lately. Ballet is so underrated. I never thought of classical music as fitness music but it is and it is perfect because it's like soft power. Instead of a riot, it is very controlled, composed and stable and organized. It is a shame I didn't do this all my life.

I have always dreamed of having a ballet school, but I want a martial arts school on the first floor! I want my dancers to know how to protect themselves not just be graceful and beautiful. When my son was a toddler I told him "There are no Power Rangers here. You have to stay close to Mommy so no one steals you." I'd like to create real life Rangers. Especially "Pink" I see many similarities between Dance and Martial Arts. 💗

Thank you again for a wonderful class. I always am reminded of an old teacher while taking these classes. I was very lucky to have ever been in her class. She came back to teach some of us aspiring young dancers out of her long retirement. Many times we repeated exercises twice as we did something unquestionably wrong. And she always compared old ways to what is acceptable now. She told me to do 100 releves everyday and we do only 16 here. She was a student of Michel Fokine and Ina Stobrova. She was my teachers' teacher. I can still hear her though she is passed on. Thank you💗
