I am going to tell you ladies a secret. I took dance lessons age 12 until college around 18/19. I am over 50 now. I was never particularly talented, flexible or the right body type. To this day I can naturally touch my toes and do the splits in one direction. I don’t stretch or formally exercise, it’s just there from back in the day. I did ballroom around 30, did a split without stretching and scared my dance teacher. What surprises me is 50+ it’s still there. Dance is forever!

More to the point that execive practice and all the training in the world doesnt make the dancer. I won countless medals and trophies and only ever attended my classes. I never practiced at home or went to the gym to make muscle on the side. You can be a dancer without the frills and pocket draining overhead....

Ermm , No thanks I’ll keep my pointe shoes on and I’ll Dance Ballet until I die 🩰😊 Are you referring to like’Lord of the Dance’ type dancing (Irish)or Scottish Clog dancing??Whichever I’m sure you’re very good 🤔but don’t underestimate the strength etc needed for Ballet until you’ve tried it ❤
