I really wouldn't call Hans "under-rated" as a support servant. He frequently gets recommended alongside Waver and Merlin as a low-cost alternative and has made a relevant place for himself inside the Crit meta even in JP. He plays with the big boys.

I agree with you and for those that do know the game well they know that he is a powerhouse. This series is geared more towards the newer players that will look at a 2* servant and gloss over it as underrated because all they hear is "Memelin this" and "Waver that" I have met and talked to a lot of people who are just starting out and they had no idea who Hans even was until i talked about running him with JAlter + Waver for some massive damage =D

Hmm, it's probably best to avoid statements about underrated/overrated because it depends so much on who you ask, and you don't want to be presumptuous about what your viewer thinks. More importantly though, saying "he's under-appreciated" is making a somewhat general statement when you're thinking about something specific (ie. some people don't realize low-stars are good in this game). Maybe say something more like "he should not be underestimated even though he's a low star servant." Or just directly say "I've talked to a lot of people who are just starting out and have only heard 'Memelin this' and 'Waver that' and have no idea who Hans is, but..." I'm not sure what wording is best, but I think it could be more focused. Also think aout making a stronger introduction. If someone is coming into this game thinking that low stars are something they need to "settle for" until they can get "good" units, I don't think this video would do much to dispel that until it's two thirds of the way in. I mean, *I* knew where you were going with it, but a new player might not. IMO it would be a stronger intro if you make it clear from the outset that FP servants can be extraordinarily useful. One more thing I noted -- a newer player might not be familiar with some concepts we take for granted. The term "star generator" caught my attention, but there are other things like a mention of how many hits the card has and its relation to NP generation. If it's geared to newer players be sure to give context. :) I really like the idea of this series, in any case!

Hans is definetly my favourite servant in the game so far. As other people said already he has an awesome voice, a great character and he looks cool too. He was my main support ever since my first FP roll and currently sitting at Level 96 with almost maxed skills, but he will get there too in time. Just with this series I'd ask you to think about adding the 4* servants that are part of the starter summoning pool in your f2p guide videosas everyone at least gets one. A couple of them can be very tricky to use but all of them are reasonable yes this includes even stheno and sumanai As this series is geared for the starting players please do continue to point out the importance of deck combinations/skill combinations which covers for a lot of low star servant shortcomings .

I think it's also worth it for this series to delve into potential CEs and team-mates that don't come from the Friend Gatcha just in case the FtP player has them. Separated from the FP options, of course, but I think it's still worth mentioning. FtP doesn't mean you don't roll with your free quartz, ya know. Plus it might get some of these lesser-used servants some playtime from the dolphins and whales.

Yeah I was gonna mention that it might be worth it to touch upon 4-Star CEs at least since f2p players will have a few 4-star CEs laying around due to rolling on quartz banners with summon ticket and free quarts especially considering that every time you do a 10 roll on a quartz banner you are GUARANTEED to pull at least one 4-star CE. It's understandable if you want to keep 3-star CE's as the main focus but it could be helpful to mention some 4-Stars in passing. For example when talking about Sorcery Ore you could have briefly touched Divine Banquet as the upgraded 4-star version of Sorcery Ore. I personally would have also mentioned Imaginary Element when talking about Dragons Meridian however in that case I would have been advising AGAINST using Imaginary Element over a max limit broke Dragons Meridian, it's a natural assumption I think some people might make to think the 4-star version of a CE is better then the 3-star but in the case of Hans and max LB Meridian vs Element, it's just not worth the extra party cost as like you mentioned with a Max LB's Meridian Hans can NP turn 1 even with a level 1 Rapid Casting so tossing Imaginary Element on him is kind of pointless. As for talking about Potential Gold servant teammates for the silver and bronze servants it might be worth mentioned the Welfare servants if nothing else. It might also be worth talking specifically about how they team up with Siegfried, d'Eon, EMIYA (Archer), Elizabeth, Marie, Martha, Stheno, Carmilla, Heracles and Tamamo Cat. Why those 4-Stars specifically? Well keep in mind that when a player starts the game they get to do a tutorial summon in which they are guaranteed to pull a 4-star servant from a pool consisting of those specific servants. Meaning that EVERYONE has at least 1 of those 4-stars on their account. And they're stupid lucky they have multiple. *Has flashback to 2nd Aniplex stream when the guest did the tutorial summon and pulled, Emiya, Tama Cat and Stheno.*

As a F2P player, first advise, choose the SSR you want and reroll until the end of times. 2nd advise, rise Hans. My bronze team, Hans support, Leonidas tank and Caligula gorilla buster. Hans can generate stars + heal overtime + attack and defense buffs, Leonidas can taunt from skill and Np + generate stars + buster buff for the team. Caligula is a damned beast with sadistic and IP, needs a CE to gather the stars, a 3 star CE will be released in the next event for that, Tricolor Combination, but also we need the str quest in round IV... You can stack 90% attack up + 135% buster up + 40% crit dmg ---> a BBB chain can deal from 200k to 300k prox with a lvl 65 Caligula (you need Anniversary Blonde MC)

He is useful, sadly I still see folks who don't bother looking at him just cuz they have Waver and Tamamo. Also, David works well with Hans. He can protect him from an AoE NP, and his arts heavy deck helps you get arts chains more often.

Hans is useful in a different way. Tamamo by herself makes arts teams the powerhouse they can be because 'Fox's Wedding' is just such a good ability, not to mention skill cooldown on her NP combined with a decent amount of healing. If anything, Mozart is her alternative, providing a 44% team-wide arts up compared to Tamamo's 50% to one target, and 50 crit stars on his strengthening quest skill at lvl 10. In contrast, Waver is pretty much a 'one turn murder support', with all of his skills providing instant NP as well as useful offensive and defensive buffs that can make sure your big stick hits the hardest they can provided you have enough stars in the bank. In contrast, Hans comes off as more of a budget waver with his own mix of offensive and defensive buffs (more on the defensive side) and no immediate NP gain which Waver quite frankly has a monopoly on till cock wizard rolls around. Another thing that the 5* support casters have above Hans is raw stats, which of course you can bandage a bit with grails, yet is still nowhere near as high as what the 5*'s get like Tamamo having 3k points higher on both Atk and HP over Hans at lvl 100. Does this mean he's a bad servant? Absolutely not. His skills are still very useful and many people preferring Hans over the other two is a testament to how good he is despite his low rarity. Honestly, I put it more on the fact that a lot of people see the 'shiny gold' looking a lot nicer to the 'dirty bronze', and Tamamo and Waver being both very popular characters despite their usefulness in-game also having a contributing factor. After all, why wouldn't you put all of the popular characters at the highest rarity?

The problem however especially with FGO is the fact that in order to get the full use out of servants, it requires a crazy amount of materials, especially since after a while, lvl 4 or lvl 6 skills after the first CD reduction don't cut it anymore.

Gil Caster is better for raw offensive arts tho, 21% atk + 30% arts + 20% def buff and def debuff on NP. Gil+Tamamo imo is better than double Tama outside stall team like using pure arts nuker servants such as Robin/Kuro/Shiki ass/Vlad as DD. Also Hans+GilCas/Sherlock+Saberlot is scary as pure crit arts team

The advantage of lower cost servants is that they can act as affordable contingency plans in your back line if things go wrong, plus they leave you the room to deck out everyone with 5-star CEs. They also often make some unlikely perfect partners for the more stand-out 5 stars. For instance, Hans pairs really well with Jalter and Leonidas is Cu Alter's best friend (Cu Alter-Leonidas-Nightingale is hilariously successful).

You'd be surprised how F2P friendly the game is. The gacha rates may be cringe-inducing, but the upside is that there are so many powerhouse 1-3 stars. Servants like Medea, Robin Hood, Cú-Chulainn, and of course Hans are still considered extremely good.

Hans is one of my favorite if not my favorite support. He's got an 11/10 smooth deep voice more manly than some of the most bara servants in the game. And on top of that he's an amazing writer. Able to make a servant far more powerful than himself. I legit blew 2 grails on him. I think I focused on him too much. As he's actually one of my strongest servants. Right up there with fucking 4 and 5 stars. I use him on my double avengers team. I use him as a back up healer/damage control character. I'm planning on using him on a Q team. The game is making me HAVE to use Q heavy teams with Hassan/a bunch of other high hit Q friendly characters. Good thing I've got Karna. And once the Kara no Kyokai rerun happens I will be the ultimate! Hopefully I get Napoleon and eventually Hassan: King edition and other assorted husbando's team to be made. SOOON.

Which Cu are you looking at? If you are using Proto Cu he would fit fantastic in with them as he is much more crit heavy than FSN Cu =D
