Hey @SpiritSquadMTG what are your thoughts on topplegeist? Ive been trialling a super low curve mono blue spirits with 12 1 drop flying spirits to activate counter-spells from turn 2. Wondering if this little dude would work, no spell queller to keep curve low? If you can see any flaws in this approach id gladly take your advise :)

If Topplegeist was U instead of W, I'd have been playing it in Mono-U years ago. As it stands, it's *slightly* too rough on the mana. If we get another UW land that can replace Pathway, I'll definitely revisit it!

Ive also realised spell queller is too good to cut haha, its more whether topplegeist can replace shacklegeist to increase 1 drop on 1 odds, i agree with the land sentiment that makes a whole lotta sense thank you man! I have been wondering if running some combat researches is worth it or not to improve consistency? Not sure

No, I wouldn't. Shacklegeist is way too powerful. Combat Research is certainly partially but I'm not a fan.

Not from me. The deck was really fun, but I haven't wanted to play Modern at all more than once or twice in the last couple of years. Glad to see some people are still fans of it though!
