I went to school in the same conference as this guy and everyone talking about the skill level and defense is beyond right. Mikey Williams is an incredible basketball player who has amazing skills and could succeed at ANY high school he attended but the competition around him is really lacking. Don't take credit away from him because he loves Chula Vista and San Diego and wants to go to school in his community to get it known.

I think Mikey has a lot of skill and potential... but as a scout there’s a few things that stick out. Pretty lazy on Defense, let’s his man leak out often for easy points, needs to work on a pull up (not every team will play below the rim where you can go to the hoop every time) also took a lot of off balanced shots with 1 to 2 dudes in his face. Once he gets a couple more years of practice in he will be a lottery pick for a lot more than just hops and points against lower caliber talent.
