After the McDonald's All-American snub, I thought it would be the fire that energized Mikey to go win a section and/or state championship. He's a great scorer and playmaker but gives little effort on defense and being a leader for his team. I believe him moving to NC was the worst decision he could have made, he reacted too fast when CIF postponed the 2020-21 season. I missed when Mikey was a freshman, he played with more passion and played to win, but hopefully he can regain that fire in Memphis. Time really does fly, I first watched him from "Fear Nothing" from Overtime, and despite the ups and downs I wish him the best at the next level.

He needs to be coached up. He hasn't really developed he's just gotten older. Watching him play this team and then Bronny reminds me of what his father said. Bronny cookie go average 30 if he wanted to. Bronny has developed his game for the next levels. Even his body.

The first one was the only one that wasn’t a charge. The second one he pushed off and the defender did a great job of selling that. The last one he lowered his shoulder into the defenders chest and again the defender sold it well. Mikey couldn’t make shit, forced about half of his shots, and played some of the laziest defense I have ever seen. That’s on him not the refs

Mikey Williams wasn't even trying. Dude be walking on the court... even when he setting screens. He casually walks to the defender to set picks. His effort is minimal when he doesn't have the ball. But it's 100 when he has a lane to the court. I hope he has better effort at the next level.

I don't think he was afraid of getting embarassed by SC, they would have probably been because SC talentwise is way better than Ysidro. We'll never know exactly why he and JJ were late, idk if it had to do with that boxing/wrestling event they went to.
