This game has gone to shit. No D, no hard fouls, no boxing out, down by 20 and you think your dunk just won the game. The boys from the 80's weren't 'pretty' but they could ball. Yep, I'm 56 : )

Blame the refs though bro. If they played like the 80s. They would get kicked out. The players are going to play the refs allow sadly.... Melo tells a story of when he came back. He posted up, backed his opponent down and got a foul call. The ref told him we don't play like that anymore....

At the state tournament there were teams with guys 6'8. But not more than one or two on each team and they were not very quick or strong. (think 1971 and 1972) Some of them beefed up and played college ball though. We had one teammate who later started with Micheal Raye Richardson in college.

They would completely destroy the best WNBA team. Hell the losing team that got stomped would beat the best women's team. Monteverde might shut them out. Put the Flagg twins and the Boozer twins on a team with no one else. 4 vs 5 and obviously they get no subs unlike the women's team. It's still a complete blowout. Griner is 6'9" and can barely dunk. Cooper is jumping out of the damn gym.

I dunno, for someone who went through public schools and has coached for nearly 2 decades at the HS level (Football), I think these private school teams and traveling teams have gotten out of hand. Just my opinion before someone gets triggered. I just prefer fair play.
