When he steal the ball and went full sprint and dunked it, he just sprint back on the defensive end, no celebration or flexing his muscle.

If you watch enough Jordan highlights... you'll notice a trend especially in his early years when he had young legs and full of energy. What he does when falling back on defense... he tries to linger around hallf court or keep his eye on the ball movement... a lot of times the other guys fall asleep and focus on setting up their offense not expecting anyone around half court to snatch a quick easy steal (people get fatigued and complacent). While everyone's momentum is transitioning to the other side of the court... MJ plays a safety position and will snatch an easy steal before the guys even notice. This is how a lot of his early fast breaks started. He didn't celebrate because he knew every single time that ball was on the court he had a chance to get it because he was faster in every aspect of the game. Like a legendary quarterback knowing where everyone is at all times and knows where everyone is going before they get there. Nowadays they let point guards get it to half court without any contesting unless late in the game.

Thank you, Makc. He did and he was. Always looking to improve. He steadily increased his range, became a deadly fallaway jump shooter, an absolute menace to try to score against and a fine off ball defender as well. No doubt his will to win, fire, rubbed off on his teammates. The ones that didn't? They were gone or hardly played.

Bill Russell on Jordan - "I cannot imagine anyone playing any better" Jerry west on Jordan - I hate to say it's not a Laker but Michael Jordan. He's been the greatest player I've ever seen. And I'm probably a harsh judge of talent in the sense that I admire players that are really good defensive players and really good offensive players. i can give you tons of nba greats saying mj is the greatest from bob cousy , sam jones, george mikan, dave bing, elgin baylor, magic johnson , larry bird, nate thurmond , dave cowens, bill sharman , lenny wilkens, domique wilkins, shaq,david robinson lebron james, kobe bryant , tracy mcgrady, paul pierce, kevin garnett, and many more. see even the great nba players of before and after considered Michael Jordan to be the greatest they have ever seen play basketball.

yes i know they are old but even Lebron and kobe said Mike is the Greatest to play the game what matters is this are great players who knows the game more than us and for them to say that Mj is the Best that they saw playing basket ball that means a lot! but man lmao when i saw your name "The Moving Pick Allows Curry to Brick" i almost fart with that one but curry is a great shooter and we can't deny that.

Andrei Donato Right now in my opinion MJ is still the greatest ever. But, also in my opinion LeBron James will be the greatest. He isn't even close to done either.
@andreidonato2907
@andreidonato2907 6 жыл бұрын
will that is your opinion i can't change that but for me it is hard to put lebron over mj in my opinion because of the melt down he had against the mavs i like lebron also and i'm a lebron fan also but you can't Deny that meltdown we can't. yes Mj has a poor playoff run before pippen we can't deny that also but we can't deny also that he has no teammates then and his teammates before pippen was cracks heads and even before pippen... mj never had a melt down in any playoffs runs he had zero that only means he doesn't have enough help and at that time the east has the champions like the boston and pistons the east was a tough conference it is like when lebron went to the finals and face the spurs and got sweep is that lebrons fault No! because he doesn't have enough help but in the heat and mavs series we ca't make excuses for that we can't! and people always say ok mj never had a winning record in the playoffs before pippen will lebron never also have a winning record before larry hughes came to cavs so should i say larry hughes is the reason why lebron has a winning record? no they both need help to win. but let me say this mj won a ring without any all-star in 1991 pippen was not an all-star in 1991 and when pippen became an all-star Michael never lose in the nba finals Never. You know i would rather see lebron recruit players to go to the cavs rather than him joining the heat so that people will not hate lbj for joining the heat before he has the power but yes he is not done yet and we as fans don't know what the cavs management can pull off like getting another superstar who knows that can help lebron. and mj change the league because before no one believes that a guard can be the player that will get them a chip michael did that 6 times beacause the leeague before was a league for centers michael is the first one who one a chip without any great bigman and that is hard to do no one believes that a leading scorer can win a chip Michael did it 6 times they said michael is just a scorer he won DPOY he recorded triples when he was assign to play the pg mj proved that he can do everything that is the reason why it is so hard for many including me to not say mj is the greatest but that is only my opinion brother. and let me add nobody expects that the bulls will win a three peat back then because the suns has a better overall team than the bulls in 93 the bulls only had mj without mj averaging 40 plus points i think the bulls would have lose in that series it is like the cavs only have lebron. but again that is only my opinion thanks brother. I'm sorry if my sentence is not that good english is not my first language sorry about that

Andrei Donato Yup just remember how quickly LeBron has gotten his stats. Also, honestly the main reason why see him going the best ever is he will no doubt be in the TOP 5 ALL TIME in both points scored and assist. That is absolutely unbelievable. I mean come on, a pass first foward like LeBron James also is the fastest EVER to 25,000 and 30,000 points. Also will be in the top 5 ever in assist. If LeBron James wasn't pass first he could no doubt average 35 a game. And don't forget what a great coach can do particularly the greatest ever in Phil Jackson. LeBron had Horrible coaches his first 10 seasons in the league not the greatest coach ever. Not faulting MJ just saying. Also, LeBron Carried sacks of potatoes I mean terrible teammates, to the Finals. I can't say that about MJ. Also, LeBron did average 36ppg, 13rpg, and 9apg during the 2014-2015 Finals against the Warriors, a top 3 team of all time. I mean come on MJ didn't face an all time great team in my opinion at any point in his career In the Finals. Not all time great. LeBron went against these Warriors 3 times probably four this year. This team has 4 FUTURE HOF'ERS not including Iggy which will probably be one. MJ never versed a team in the Finals with 5 future hof'ers that's a fact. But hey you ain't go wrong with MJ. He hasn't surpassed him yet in my eyes but it's damn close.

EVERYBODY MUST KNOW THIS INFORMATION ABOUT JORDAN ITS BEEN LONG ENOUGH!!! If you want to understand why he is the goat watch my video explaining the equation Michael+Jordan = 3 6 9 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaKwdYmHr9CForM Michael Jordan is the greatest athlete EVER! No wonder his life seems to operate based on the patterns of 3s. All of his numbers are in 3s they are all divisible by the number 3, if the number added up equals 3 6 or 9 then the number is divisible by 3. all his numbers seem to add up to 3 6 or 9. this video explains why. 3 6 and 9 are the numbers that are coded in Michael Jordans Greatness. He is 6 foot 6 with 6 championships. On the 6th game of his 6th championship he hits the greatest game winning shot in NBA finals history and his everlasting image is captured with 6.6 seconds left! Jordan entered the league 3 times and exited the league 3 times. His numbers are 23 and 45 2/3=.666666.... 2*3=6, 4+5=9 His olympic number is 9. At age 30 he won 3 in a row and retired At age 33 starts his 2nd 3peat Retires from bulls at age 36 with 6 championships out of. 15 year career, 6 years he won and 9 years he lost Even his baseball numbers are divisible by the number 3 Theres much much more.... Nikola Tesla said "If you only knew the magnificence of the numbers 3 6 and 9, you would have a key to the universe." I believe Michael Jordan discovered that key, or somebody or something else discovered it for him.

What makes MJ the greatest defender who ever played in basketball is for various reasons. He could lock down his opponent 1 vs 1 defense which avoids having an open player on the opposing teams and MJ could still score big points. He is a great team defender by anticipating the passing lanes and those behind the back shot blocks from bigs. He puts in so much pressure on the defensive end to stop him coz they will end up in a poster coz MJ finishes strong to the basket with grace and passion. The bigs always have an advantage with blocks category but MJ does everything from being the greatest on-ball defender and help defender.

The small ball style and pick n roll/pop and drive and kick offense of today's game will not be a big problem to Jordan and the Bulls back then. Pippen, Jordan, and Harper all have high backetball IQ and no matter what ghost picks, or stacked/staggered picks you make, they can easily adjust to it and have the stamina and durability to play the whole game, every game. of course the opposing teams and players these plays are better 3 point shooters, but the game averages are still the same. If Derozan and Kawhi can be the top pplayers in today's NBA, how much more will Jordan be.

MJ is like a point guard when it comes to steals cause he is 3rd behind John Stockton and Jason Kidd with 2,514 STL. That alone speaks volume how much MJ is a killer at both ends, from offensive to defensive skillsets.

Some great all around players, for some reason or another, get strangely recognized as All def . Walt Frazier, for one, never was a lock down defender, as he was inaccurately credited for. West and Maravich and Monroe used to regularly light him up big time. Sure, they did that to many and most defenders. But I recall his heyday and Don Chaney and Jerry Sloan were the real superb lock down defenders in that era. Frazier's main talent on D was stealing the ball and playing the passing lanes, much like star forwards Rick Barry & Julius Erving. 2 guys who were considered, decent, maybe even pretty decent, but never outstanding defenders. Clyde's D was more like Barry's and Erving's than Sloan's or Chaney's.

Am I the only human being ever to see Kareem Abdul jabbar play basketball? It's amazing how when folks mention the "greatest of all time" Kareem name never comes up! His body of work speaks for itself. Remeber, he was a 6 time league MVP. and the league's all time leading scorer.

If you've seen Kareem play, then you should also remember that one of his regular season MVPs came when he first joined the Lakers and the team finished under .500 that year. How many seasons should Jordan have won with his team being under .500???

Michael Jordan couldn't win in the 80"s. He won his championships in the Watered Down Era of Basketball. History don't lie.
@paolo-1283
@paolo-1283 6 жыл бұрын
That's dumb and stupid, that watered down era you name includes prime centers and forwards where everybody's heads are chop off going to the basket. The reason why kobe and shaq couldn't get past the 1997 western conference finals is because of the Utah Jazz, the team that loose to the Bulls twice. MJ is 9 time all defensive first team, Pippen is 8 time and Rodman 7 time.. That Power Trio destroyed a lot of Teams in the 90s. Magic is just 4yrs and Bird is 6 yrs older than MJ. They're not that old and washed up when MJ came in 84.

+paolo-1283 Shut your ignorant non knowing basketball ass up. Wash your ass and quit living in fantasy land. Jordan couldn't win in the 80"s fact. He only started winning when Magic, Bird, Kareem, and Isiah were getting old or retired. Facts. Jordan couldn't even start on his high school team. Facts. In college James Worthy was the main star at UNC. Facts. In the pro's the Pistons, Celtics, and 76'ers used to tapp Jordans ass before he won a NBA World Championship. Facts. Bill Russell has won 11 NBA World Championships. Facts. Jordan will never ever will nerve ever top that. Facts. Period. History don't lie. You can put your lips on that. Boom.

+paolo-1283 Who did Jordan really face? Charles Barkley a player who was fat out shape and couldn't win a NBA World Championship. John Stockton who couldn't even lift Jordan's nutsack. Drexler who isn't on the same level as Kobe, Durant, and Lebron. Who also couldn't win a championship until he joined a winning team. Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp who also couldn't win a NBA World Championship. Payton also went to another team to win a NBA World Championship. He also faced a old Magic Johnson not in his prime without Kareem and Cooper. Now you explain that. He won NBA Championships in the Watered Down Pepsi Generation Era. History don't lie.

Dude - why do you troll all the MJ videos? You are literally the first guy watching every single video. You say you hate him and he can't play which is just truly laughable and yet you watch nonstop. MJ would literally demolish the league and for you to draw parallels to Derozan because Demar plays a midrange game is laughable. I'm pretty sure you've never played a game in your life but your asinine obsession with hating on MJ either borders on idiocy or you're 12 years old. Not only would MJ literally destroy everyone, he'd get to the free throw line every single possession as he'd drive the basket with no big bodies in the middle. Today's game is a bunch of open court free wheeling basketball and he would literally be unstoppable. He'd retire out of boredom. He'd punish little boys like Stephanie defensively - literally punish him just like he did his daddy Dell Curry. Punish him.

Steph Curry The G.O.A.T first off Demar is not the athletic beast Jordan was. Jordan is a very intelligent player he'd fine a way to beat zone. Plus how many teams do you that play zone all game? Jordan was dropping 20ppg at 39yrs against zone defense. And defense was weak? Some of the greatest defense player's and team's played during Jordan era
