He makes every weapon look so damn easy. I got this gold last month - I have no damn idea how he avoids hitmarkers every other shot. I get them even when I hit people in the shoulder. Made the bloodthirsties nearly impossible. That said, the iron sights are FUN AS ALL HELL. You die a lot, but feel like an absolute badass every time you manage a kill with it.

You only need that with the DSR, cuz the ballista has high handling speeds, and you should be using the DSR for hard scoping in things like SND and League Play

For you guys who are arguing about hard scoping and quick scoping, There is a difference between camping with a sniper than hard scoping while running around the map. Hard scoping is originally made for snipers but doing quick scope is a plus on your skillset which means that if you hard scope, you are not a nuub unless you sit and camp on 1 area.

It's amazing how most people on COD have so much skill with sniper rifles so I figured I should try it out. But I hate people who just complain about quickscoping and hardscoping. You shouldn't waste your time and skill shooting a bullet in game if you don't even know you're gonna hit. Everyone has a different gaming style and no one should tell you how to play. I have respect for all players so don't misunderstand me, it is just my opinion. Your video helped me improve my sniping accuracy because really, I'm always screwed when it comes to me missing a bullet at close range XD.

Quick scoping is only a problem on console. Play on PC and it's non-existent because there is no auto-aim. Only real snipers exist there.

This is a fun weapon, I like the variety of snipers in this game. My class for it is a perk-heavy, hardy, and mobile class. Ext. magazine on the Ballista, secondary Tac-45, Flak Jacket, Toughness, Tactical Mask, perk 1 and 3 greed with Lightweight and Dexterity respectively. It's a fun build for CTF if you are a confident sniper at closer ranges. You can also swap out one of the extra perks for tactical grenades, or a lethal grenade and laser sight, depending on the situation.

It's because the killcam is just a gimmicky replay, it's recorded button presses being "repressed" again but there is no recording of video whatsoever, it's a no scope effect that the bullet goes somewhere random, but the button presses show the kill anyways. If that makes any sense I'm not great at explaining.

I agree with the guy who said straight pull bolts should be rapid fire for snipers. In both bf and cod it be a great idea. Take of the milliseconds it takes to turn the bolt. The besides that grant like a 15-25% increase. Other then that since bolt snipers have to pull the bolt before and after the reloads it could speed up reloads.

I love that the gun doesn't move when the bolt is cocked like all call of duties. I've actually used a ballista in real life and trust me, it's not as buttery as call of duty says it is. In fact, no bolt action is.

True, if you are quickscoping and you get shot halfway scoped in without toughness, it will go over his head but if you have toughness and that happens it will move up ti his neck or head giving you a guaranteed kill unless you are using a suppressed SVU-AS sniper

For me Fast Hands is a must. C4 goes on all my quickscope classes. And for the occasional hit marker or miss, just switch to a Pistol or Remmy and blast em.

the Ballista is my Go-To Sniper Rifle for most Sniper roles. assault, defence, stealth, and lock down. Variable Zoom and a 2nd attachment of any choice. secondary gunfighter, Tac 45 long barrel and tac knife.

First build I disagree with totally. Take off the laser, extended mag, and the duel weld. Ballista - naked Kap 40 - (or Remmy 870/KSG) Lightweight Fast Hands + Scavanger Dexterity C4 Stun - (or non if going shotty for secondary) Not sure but I think there's still one point left if using the Kap 40. So you could ditch the stun and add a fifth perk.
