Ballistic is a legend who very heavily relies on your gunplay. You basically have nothing else, to leave a fight, or any utility. He seems like a legend, who enhances the skills of pros, rather that help the noobs. He only really shines in an offensive playstyle, but i guess that one's the most fun anyways

I have to disagree, ballistic thrives with team play. Yes, you can shred someone before they even have a chance to react with a tempest and a REEEEEEE-45, but it's often a better idea to let your other teammates be more aggressive with it while you stay a bit further back, since he doesnt have many in-combat utiltiies. His main advantage probably does lie in his ultimate though, since it can all but completely negate his team's reliance on ammo, saving valuable inventory space for grenades, ult chargers, heals, etc. If your ballistic goes down though, you've left in 'Nam without any ammo supply.

Little correction, overheat does NOT deal 30 dmg as base (as of now) . It deals dmg based on your enemies HP. So if your enemy has 1 hp, whistler will do 0 DMG to Armour. If your enemy also has more than 1 hp but still low, whistler can do low dmg. How ever the impact damage is always the same. So do not be surprised that overheat did little damage on low hp opponent.

How is his tac overpowered ? From my playing his ability is far from OP, it warns the enemy they are tracked , if you are behind cover you can make the whistler miss and if you do overheat you are not forced to switch weapons or are debuffed in any way , and if you are low HP it cant even kill or damage armour in any meaningfull way. If anything I think its underpowered.

He is moderately difficult, while the skills are easy to catch, his kit is still based on weapons. If you can't hit, 2 skills become weak.

Even with the evac tower ,I feel like valk will still see a lot of play. Since in competive all the teams will immediately shoot at the evac tower destryoying it. However valk's ultimate can be used safely

I think that a cool character passive would be a character that could pick up and move deathboxes, meaning they have to carry it in there hands because it’s to big to fit in their bag, they could pick it up and put it in front of doors, but you wouldn’t be able to stack the boxes while being inside a building so that it’s not possible to completely seal a door. Out doors you would be able to stack deathboxes 2 high so you can use them as a cover you have to crouch behind.

With all of the ways to get weapons with preattached optics it’d be nice if you can choose what optic is auto equipped when available in the weapon’s tab on the loadout screen, that way I don’t have to worry about changing it during TDM or Control games

The R-301 is my favorite gun in the sling for his ult. If I find it, that's always what's going on there. The Rampage is fun, too. But R-301 is awesome for mid-range combat.

While the giby bubble does reflect the whistler, I've found you can use it as a soft counter to Giby bubbles since I can run in the bubble and shoot the ground, which pretty much flushes the giby out. I the problem I have with his third weapon is that I can't just cycle through it, having a different button throws me off. As for the sights, I think pistols should have a Digi (includes mozam), shotguns (except for mozam) and smgs- 2x, assault riffles should get 3x, marksman- 4x, and snipers- thermal

I've been using him lately as a knowledgeable-but-mechanically-inept player, as having that overheat to force passivity in enemies is an excellent way to give myself some breathing room where I would otherwise be panicking trying to get them down before they laser me. I would say he's decently newbie-friendly, thanks to that, and a good way to get some actual practice in with the mechanical side of things since you're not being sent back to the menu as soon as you see another player.

Haven’t had the Rampage as a sling weapon for it’s ultimate weapon, but I could say that the Mastiff so far is the best. As it’s normal non-attachment-equipped version is alright as a last source dmg output and the golden version shoots extremely fast and auto reloads all the time, and even manually reloads extremely quickly
