her Q is based on Flight Core, but tuned to make it fit Apex more, but there is definitely still room for improvement. Give the Q an alternate effect altogether if fired mid-air, maybe more freedom of movement when flying (Viper Thrusters) or even a dash, and instead of firing a single payload, she could have 30 rockets that she could barrage in a concentrated manner (like Northstar's Core).

I personally believe her ult should be retweaked for a charge system akin to vantages bullets, or Shiela's ammo. have it so it has like, 3 or 5 charges. - 1 charge simply shoots her up into the air before entering skydive mode. - 2 charges is the same but with higher Hight and with greater directiontional control (like being able to do complete 180 turns.) -have it so charges can be used mid-air, like a bird flapping its wings to increase elevation. - and consuming all charges will allow allies to finally enter skydive mode and function as her traditional ult. oh, and just have it so her tactical rockets work while using her ult, to greater accuracy and slightly longer stun. this will allow valk to have more mobility and area versatility then most, me thinks.

she needs the ability to maneuver in flight both Q and ult. imagine shooting up with the team in her ult but being able to direct the flight path on the way up. as well as maybe 2 sets of rockets before needing to cooldown.

Mirage is a tricky one. Theyve changed the behavior of his abilities several times already, and every change has been effective... at first. The problem is once people learn the new behaviors, they stop getting fooled. So they have to keep changing him just for him to be viable.

Yeah the core design is what is holding him down so I think he would need something more reliant like more invisibility time or even make him invisible for a moment when he's using tactical and make clones AI and make them even shoot which would make a noise that you're taking damage when in reality you don't or maybe make them do like minimal damage like 0.25 HP per shot or maybe make him a flashbank character so it punishes people that shoots him now that I think about it it would be pretty cool of he could change invisible and make ai clone and when the enemy shoots it he gets flashbanked so mirage has a window to start atacking

Vantages passive is lowkey one of the best in the game lol. Being able to scan squads and see their numbers / shield level is super useful when deciding how to take fights

I think loba is high b tier, mostly for ranked. Her being a support legend and having one of the safest movement tacticals makes her pretty good in my opinion. I do agree that she needs more slots in her ultimate.

I think fuses grenade rocket jump idea can be different depending on the Granada he is holding Frag Grenade: essentially soldier’s rocket jump from TF2, great height and decent horizontal distance Thermite grenade: It can propel you forward like a shorter octane stim, can be used to slide quicker and jump higher afterwards Arc star: similar to the frag grenade but you can use it on walls, granting you an easy wall jump but less vertical height then a frag

Loba in C tier next to damn lifeline is a bad take, especially when someone like caustic is in B. Shes one of the best solo queue legends, top tier rat, support so you can craft banners, never worry about ammo, get free armor swaps in buildings etc Crazy take imo

A cool change to Ashs ult would be the ability to make free-floating portals that arent bound to a floor. Let her be able to make a portal wherever she's aiming, even up into the air.

When Ash first leaked it was said that his tactic was something like this, plus a former EA playtester (who predicted Conduit's look and abilities, next map, future weapon and other future Apex content) said that they have in I develop a character called "Cave" who can create portals to walk through walls, so they probably used that idea to create this new legend.

@@matteorusso4001oh right I remember that being a short talk when character info was leaked and some were speculation. Hearing the split gate portal idea sounds like something that would be great. Like just imagine a legend having an ult where they put their hands on the walls and tear open a portal and go through it as it stays for a certain duration. Of course I imagine to give this away, you can see the tearing from the other side and once the portal appears you can be ready for whatever comes through. But imagine ash could have something similar, like it’s line of sight so if you look through a window maybe you can see where you are going to use that sword to teleport inside. it may lead to big brain plays or your own failure if they noticed you with your sword out for a while and they already prepared a trap. I mean these windows shouldn’t be blocking a portal from coming through right?

Vantage has three passives: natural scope, can ping shields and # of squad, and has a built in bullet drop crosshair. Her tactical isn’t bad since it provides a lot of utility but requires thinking. The only thing holding her back besides not providing much to the team is that wide hitbox. She’s so fat that she leaks out of cover, making peaking extremely hard and half cover exposing her head.

5:54 macro it’s a passive that makes it so that when she has an optic on her gun that is 2x or above, there is an extra reticle that pops up that shows you where enemies are, what shields their enemies have and it shows you where your bullets will drop off( no I did not look that up)

Actually, I switch to my sling gun all the time-- usually a PK or Wingman if I'm looking to use it regularly (although this season has been good for the L-Star as well). The extra gun can save your life far more often than it gets credit for; sometimes people just whiff repeatedly and that third gun full of ammo can make all the difference, sometimes a 3-shot with a wingman is just faster, sometimes the PK is more helpful, and sometimes you just want to carry something for every possible range. It also helps to better time your Whistler to coincide with either an enemy reload or weapon swap. That said, at least the top 1% of Ballistic players *do* use their sling weapons without ult, at least on occasion.

As a Mags main, i can respect your take as well as the suggested buffs. I do also think she should get a longer highlight bonus for damaging enemies, should be able to reload shotties faster, and her wrecking ball should do more damage. Seriously, a more consistent wrecking ball isnt too much to ask for.

Seer's tactical interupting actions like healing and using abilites was fine tbh. As long as it doesn't do 5 other things as well. It was a unique effect that can be balanced properly if they attempt it again

For ash I’ve been having ideas, her tactical is decent! I just think it would be cool if it stuck to more than one person, it’s not that bad of cc so it wouldn’t be as strong, or having two tacticals would be great as well, her passive should be a pop up like bamboozle so she can just ping where teams just died instead of going into map and looking. Her port could also be faster :) that’s my ideas P.s. I knew what vantage passive was

I liked your idea for a Lifeline ultimate rework. Including the faster revives and preventing teammates from being finished, they could make it so enemies can’t revive in this area either. Maybe the machine would be like a deployable respawn beacon that works inside buildings and has a glowing heart on it?

Ash feels like a jack of all trades, master of none. She has the passive of a recon, the ultimate of a skirmisher, and her tactical is trying its best. I don't know if reworking her to have a more specialized kit over a well rounded kit would be better or not.

In a recent AMA the developers said that during preliminary testing Ash was even too strong because his tactic blocked characters for too long, so they thought he was fine with these changes. However, after watching her for so long, they decided to think of some serious solutions to make her a more viable character.

I don't think Ballistic is that bad, his ultimate is more than the upgraded sling weapon. The increased movement/reload speed and infinite ammo applies to your team, plus it extends by 5 seconds per kill not just by you but anyone on your team affected by Tempest. And teammates don't need to stay in the radius of the ultimate range for the buff to stay active. It works offensively and I also use it reactively against pushes, and his ult is better than Loba's when you have limited ammo in some endgame situations.

His ult is "OKAY". its not great and its not bad. I think it's really good for casual players, but pros and preds dont play him is because they don't need his ULT. His ult does not benefit them. Is a fully kitted gold gun good? yah, but it doesn't matter for pros/preds though because a majority of the time their already kitted up. All pros/preds do in rank is chase down teams and kill them, then they get stacked up on loot for their guns. The fast reload and quick handle doesnt do nothing too for them. When your already the best at the game and can shoot like you have aimbot. A gold gun that reloads fast isn't going to make a major difference. Think about it, one solo pro/pred player can kill a team by themselves with a gun with no attachments, what's a gold gun that reloads quick gonna do that for them? high tier players rather have characters with abilities that can do other things.

A interesting combo I’ve seen is octane, ballistic, and blood hound, all ultra are relatively short and when all combined together creates a very offensive team. Jump pad, tempest, with constant scans and extra time per kill. And the ults comeback so quick next team fight you’ll have it. It’s almost like the revtane meta just different legends. Replacing blood hound for like Gibraltar for defense is a other option too. Plus end ring benefits.

One amazing buff bor ash, making his taktikal like catalyst que, even if you cant hit enemy it should stay there until someone hits it. And there could be two at most. This was possible at ApexM and this made her tactical way useful in blocking doorways and tight pathways, when someone is hard chasing you. You might also get random sticks when you leave one at zoprails or chokes. For her portal she can use it second time in 5 secons after using it, but the second will be only half the distance. For example 50+25m.( This was also possible in ApexM).This will stop enamy from taking your portal, grant longer range, and give bit more flexibility.

As a lifeline main I think her ultimate can be reworked. She could throw her drone into the air and then there could be like a radius or like a circle. If you are in the circle and on the lifelines team your get a instant evo upgrade and fast heals. This should last around 30-60 seconds. To balance it out there could be music so surrounding teams can know that a lifeline just used her ult. The drone should be thrown up into the air so that teams could destroy (It would have a decent amount of hp though). Also the lifeline couldn’t use her tac or passive during this time. The drone could also specifically follow the lifeline. This would be a good way to make lifeline’s kit aggressive and fun.

Kinda glad Vantage continues to be slept on and not as popular because she’s good but needs some tweaks. Her passive is probably the best in the game for info gathering since, well, she’s the team’s scout. And Echo already does follow you, which you’d know if you played her. But ya. She needs some buffs. Maybe no LoS for Echo and give the girl fortified. She’s built for it and got enough heavy clothing to warrant it

My one gripe is that vantage’s passive totally counters bangalore and mirage, her jump is better than revenant if you know how to cancel it, and her sniper is op, she’s a tier at least

She's not A tier. Is her sniper ult good? yeah, it's decent, but there are better ults out there that can provide more to your team and yourself as a player...You have a sniper that does about 50 damage meanwhile you have other character with ults that can create walls, drop down bombs, suck in players, create portals that move your entire team, and more... You also need to LAND YOUR SHOTS to even make the Sniper ult count, meanwhile most other characters just need to click a button and their ult does the work. You say her jump is better than Rev if you know how to cancel it, but that's the problem with it. Most people aren't going to learn how to cancel it just to play her. Overall, Vantage is just an okay character. She is definitely NOT A tier like you say. If she is, then that means according to the list she's better than all the B tier characters like Gibraltor and Pathfinder, which is untrue in every aspect. Gibby is one of the best utility characters in the game, and Pathfinder is the best movement character in the game. Putting Vantage above them is ridiculous.

One buff I whould give to mirage is a couple things. 1: give is clones a bit of health. Not to much so that it’s broken, but just enough so people don’t get easily fooled. And this could potentially be able to use it as cover. 2: giving his clones modes. Point mode, which is it just moving to a point, mirror mode, which is mirroring his movements, and Battle mode, were the act like bots, and “shot” near by enemies. This whould add more versatility and make it more confusing for enemies.

As a Ash main, i already accepted she will be in D tier for a long while. Poor Ash has been needing buffs since season 11, we are in season 19 and we barely got anything for her. Her passive of scanning deathboxes is useless, the other passive is cool but not that impactful, tatical is situational and barely holds people in place, ultimate is okay but outclassed by Wraith. They should just stop adding legends for a while and focus on making underwhelming legends better.

I agree with everything you said about Ash. You were SPOT on. Her passive is cool..but it really is useless. The truth is that no one is actively using her passive..it tells you where the enemy is...but most of the time, it's not like your gonna hunt them down, and even if you do, your just gonna run into another team on the way and forget about the team you going after, Her passive really doesn't do anything except give you information, but that information does nothing too because the enemy is probably too far for the information to even matter at that point. The passive is just bad... Her tactical isn't bad, but it's not good either. like you said. It's situational. Which makes it not versatile in most fights.

I have a couple ideas for Ash, Fuse, and Valk. Ash - ash sends a wave of "phase energy" from her sword turning obstacles into this "phase like state" allowing anyone to walk through it until said obstacle turns back to it's original state after 2 seconds. Fuse - fuse would have a alternate fire for his ult. Allowing him to shoot his mother lode directly at a target and dealing 40 damage and creating a patch of fire. Using this alternate mode would give a shorter cool down to his ult as well. Valkyrie - this one's pretty simple just allow her to use her rockets while she's flying using her ult. I appreciate any feedback. :)

I like everything except for Maggie’s placement. There was no talk about her passive which is kind of alright because the shotgun movement speed isn’t that big of a deal, but scanning enemies when dealing damage partially counters Bangalore’s smoke. It’s super easy to track enemies through it after getting a single hit.

Valks Ult can just be a version of the Flight Core, allowing her to hover/strafe in the air while firing. They can balance it by adjusting the duration or how fast she moves while strafing. By its nature its not OP, because she's a relatively easy target while flying meaning you'd have to be smart about positioning/timing in order to not get destroyed.

As a crypto main I believe he does need a buff. The drone just doesn’t feel as active. I still believe the drone should allowed to follow you. Or at least a shorter cooldown after it’s destroyed. Or at LEAST an actual passive. His passive is just a description of his tactical.

Your lists are honestly the best. You say things ive always thought that people disagree with. Your voice has more weight and can actually change peoples minds. Im glad im not the only one. Btw, i do think caustic should be a bit lower. Even though i agree on all your comments. Ballistics tactical should have a longer overheat effect. Right now its a bit underwhelming. And i disagree on his passive. I use the sling weapon un ultified all the time, people underestimate it. A back up shotgun, alternator or even a smg is really clutch. I usually go a long range weapon like a 3030, a sentinel or a triple take, then i go for a shotgun or smg in my secondary. Then i usually use a alternator as a backup because even though the ammo is low. Its enough and lasts long enough to finnish them off, because you already have used a car or a r99 on them, and if thats not enough, then you can pull out the lucky noscope with a triple take. And to add even more, when i ult, i get a dissruptor alternator with 1 sec reloads and no movement slowness, like come on, its pretty busted. But at the end of the day, its in the top ranked play, i get it if he isnt that good, but for pubs, he is a stomper.

I am a dedicated Rampart player. I picked her up after watching a tiktok live. A pro player was using her and breaking down why she is so underratedly viable. Realizing she fit my play style and how I approach fights, haven't put her down since. She's really good for players that like to play chess with their opponents

A cool buff for seer would be buffing his tactical a bit more, keeping it hard to hit but still stunning heals, revives, etc. Then, when he pops his ult, a cool feature would be half cooldown on his tactical, and a “sure hit” effect like domain expansion so he guarantees a shot with his tactical, giving him a much better edge fighting within his ult and making it more threatening to enter. For a mirage buff a cool concept would be able to switch positions with your decoy, which means that you can’t ever ignore a decoy even if it isn’t the actual player, which can make for some big outplays. How it fits into the lore? A magician never reveals his secrets

For lifeline, I think her ult should just be tweaked to become an Instant rez. like if her care-package kept it's look but obtained massive buffs, such. as; - being summoned instantly through a portal (so it can be indoors) - instantly rezzing allies, they'll be shot out of the care-package doors, with appropriate armor (purple for 3rd ring, red for final ring.) - instantly creating a small healing field around it for a couple of seconds.

5:51 As a vantage main *cough cough* Vantage’s passive is where you can “scan enemies” knowing what legend they are, what shield lvl they’re at, and how far they are. This Passive is only usable on a 2x sight or greater but can also be used if you don’t have a weapon equipped in your hands. Her Passive is pretty good if you want to push a team if they have 1-2 players and weak shield but isn’t in end game situation. I also agreed with all of your cool ideas (:

As great buff for Lifeline is to replace her Ultimate with a tablet similar to Crash in COD BO4. This tablet allows life life to give a surge of HP (50HP) as health with a rapid health regeneration for 5 secs (the speed of her drone healing) and allows your teammates to self revive if they’re downed when the ultimate goes off (as well as restore their downed HP; not the death timer though).

I think an interesting buff for Maggie’s drill would be making it so it drills through thicker cover, like when it makes contact with something it keeps drilling till it makes it to the other side, and it would also be funny if you could send it through an entire mountain

I think crypto should have the same ability as vantage, he can move his drone to a certain position but to make sure it’s not too similar and super broken, he can only do it once. If he wants to do it again he has to recall the drone So he can enter the drone obviously to move it, but if ur fighting and want a better position of the enemies, you can move ur drone (like how you move echo) but only once and use a different button, which becomes disabled once used, and enabled after recalled and put out again.

As a mirage and ballistic main, i can definitely agree that mirage should duplicate his teammates and gain another decoy. But he isn't a bad legend, the tricks and confusion you can deploy, is more effective than you say. As for ballistics passive, the sling does come in handy in 1v1s, way more than i thought. I do like your suggestion for the passive, that would be sick.

I would say catalyst needs a buff tbh, it’s hard to hold off a building against a good squad. I think they’ve done well at nerfing her ult but she should be able to lay down 3 traps as opposed to two.

I THINK a GOOD ability for seers tactical would be an ability that i would call: drone burst! it would be like a little cloud of drones that seer sends out in front of him that bounces back enemies and higlights them (it may help if you think of it like a bloodhound scan but executed by drones with 6 metres range and it bounces enemies back). that could help him because it would have a direct combat effect (pushing the enemy back) and a recon effect (scanning them after they got hit) that would not make him overpowered, since he would only be able to scan if the enemy is in close combat but it would give him an advantage, because he gets the knockback on the enemy, allowing him to reposition himself during the pushback and then fight against an enemy he has knowledge about

Being able to push back an enemy is TOO STRONG for a tactical. Theirs's a reason Mad Maggies ult pushes people back and stuns them. It's because it's good. Think about it, your fighting an enemy, and then you get pushed back and you aim goes off the enemy. And this happens every 25 seconds, because its a tactical. TACTICAL ARE USUALLY ONLY 20 - 25 SECONDS LONG.

Mirage buff idea: 2 buffs and a slight rework are in order, when you bamboozle a person instead of it being a marker it’s something like mad Maggie’s passive where you see their outline and where they are moving. The market will only show at the moment of the bamboozle but would fade away quickly afterwards (to indicate where they are in the moment) You can make teammate bamboozles and duplicate your team. Your tactical has 3 charges now for each member of your squad. Finally his ultimate would create 4 - 5 clones around you and your teammates. (Clones would use speed buffs and movement abilities if they’re under the effect of one or if the person they’re mimicking is using ability like that for eg: octane uses stim they all get the buff to speed) This could be way too strong but at the same time it’d give mirage such good supportive utility as a support character I think it could get him to B tier at least.

Vantage’s passive can be used with all scopes except iron sights, plus she can see shields and how many are alive in a squad which is VITAL information for engagements. So I’m just a Vantage main and I could not let this go without saying my peace. Happy holidays Macro.

Vintages tactical is actually better than revs in everyway only issue is Los which can be over come with well planned escape routes or getting into a groove of recalling echo for next jump. Giving her just lazersight aim at cqc would be nasty

It is confirmed lifeline is getting a rework where now her drone will follow her to heal teamates and her ult is now giving more of combat medic for her drone does a huge electric shock to enemies around her close to crypto emp but does more damage

Valk is easily higher in C tier. Her passive mobility is very strong and just because her ult now competes with a survival item doesnt suddenly mean its useless. Having a evac tower means you can use your ult to scan, if you dont find a tower you still have ult, ult is way safer, and having ult means you can keep a different survival item for utility. Her only difference now that evacs exist is that she isnt *required* on a team, other than that she has only benefited from Evacs existing.

As a Mirage main I’d take your idea but also I’d like to add being able to make your ultimate summon clones like when they use that emote that makes a clone. This way you’d have 16-22 Mirages in your screen and it would be pure chaos. One extra thing is to make the clone smarter, I feel like whenever I take control over my clone it just ends up facing a wall so I’d like a way for it to go where you’re going/looking so you can actually make a 50/50 for the enemy because right now it’s too easy to mess up with the clone. Also Mirage is weaker than most characters rn bc everyone nowadays seems to have a bs AOE that deals damage while Mirage just fools you for a nano second which doesn’t really make him good in a game with such a high TTK

I think mirage's problem is that even if the clones are shot, nothing happens because there are a lot of scanners who can already find you. If shooting the clones causes like a small flash bang or something, and more was done to make the clones convincing, then mirage could be a real threat.

I think comparing Rev and Vantage tactical doesn't seem fair, since they both have a different purpose. Rev is mostly battle movement Vantage is A to B relocation, which makes more sense for her character (angles and stuff). You can easily predict where and how far you're going to go (unlike Rev's clunky chargeup). It has actual reliable verticality, being able to jump on top of most buildings easy. All that plus an optional double jump at the end. There are downsides, like Echo revealing your position if you don't recall him, and of course recalling Echo after each jump. But a more fair comparison would be between Ash ult and Vantage tactical.

Yah. i agree with how you said rev and vantages movement ability have different purposes, but I think macro was talking more about the grand scheme of things, because if we're talking only about movement wise.. I think most people would want Rev's jump where you can just click or hold to jump farther instantly. Vantage jump isnt bad, but you have more steps to do. Her drawback is needing to call her bat buddy back, and sending it out to where you wanna jump to. Which isn't complicated, but it like I said, it requires more steps, and people rather just click a button to jump. The other reason why Vantage jump isn't that good too is because her jumps predictable. All you need to do is look where her bat buddy is and you'll know where she'll land, it's similar to Loba's bracelet. Lastly, Revs jump speed is faster. Vantage is slower by a few seconds. This is the main reason Vantage can get easily shot out of the air..well, her hitbox plays into it as well, but still, the jump speed is one of the reasons too. So in the grand scheme of things, Vantage has more drawbacks than Rev in terms of movement.

Rampart is really underrated because sheila is really good and the buff of wall placement can be helpful for revives and any cover when you need to run out in the open that’s why I got a legend token recolor skin for her instead of waiting for the northern lights PK skin

Turning fuses knucklecluster/gernades into ash coachgun sounds so fun but possibility busted if nades have full damage just rushing or jumping into the enemy with no regards as you prepare to rocketjump and bust all their shields. would be so disrespectful also make it oneshot horizons ults. Also also skid plates for fuse allowing him to not just rocket jump but wallride an punchboost essential. Would just make a nasty escape artist and great for flanks on certain maps/ poi.

path passive is actually really good, his ziplines just need to be faster than regular zips. mirage clones need to not be buggy as hell, actually mimic everything (weapon switch, heal, grenade) and also be able to climb. really like your idea of having maggie ball clear smoke and should also clear caustic gas and maybe even a portion of catalyst wall bangalore's kit is fine. Her smoke just has 0 counter play other than having a specific item which isnt fun and feels terrible. beyblade should clear it, grenades should clear it, ballistic needs a better passive yueah, maybe having a minimum of all grey attatchments and a faster weapon switch seer passive needs to not be useless, and ult should track everything that isnt walking. ALso needs to be a fair bit bigger and last longer. I really like the idea of seer being insane at locking down an area and immediatly knowing if any new team is anywhere near you. Rough information, just all the time instead of bloodhounds periodic exact scan fuse needs explosive and fire resistance lifeline needs new ult valk needs a slight passive buff, and for her ult to not just be a bad evac tower. loba ult should have a third slot that is for greys only crypto drone needs to be faster, more hp and go further ash is so bad and i have 0 attatchment to her kit that i do not care how she gets buffed catalyst should onlyt be able to lock down 1 double door or one single
