I feel like the baloons actually kinda buff her because you dont need to ult to rotate and can save it for later. Also using the towers to get out of a fight does not work 99% of the times because it gets destroyed instantly while you can valk ult out of the fight

I beg to differ. Depends on how you use the balloon. If you are in a 1v1 and just drop it, chances are it's going to be destroyed in an instant. Whereas if in a 3rd party situation, very unlikely balloon gets shot down (experienced lots of times in ranked) played lots of games and only seen 3-5 valks in all the games I've played (played over 100 in ranked so far)

@@catpunk161 some might argue valk can be used for to get high ground or recon. But honestly wasting a spot on your team u best just pick up a horizon or maybe a seer. However season 17 feels like they killed recon legends a bit with the new legend. His ult paired with certain guns can honestly just 1v3 a team if you have good aim

i feel like this whole time respawn was going in a direction to prevent heavy 3rd parties and large map rotations. they took a few permanent balloons off maps as well as nerfs to legends like valk. certain maps had vehicle spawns reduced and overall it just felt as if they were going in a safe direction. then they add fkk ton of portable balloons to deny all that they were doing these past few seasons. im so confused

The balloons are pretty easy to kill, only go a fraction of the height Valkyrie has, and you get to save Valkyrie for more important times. I think it's really balanced

pretty easy to kill if people are keeping an eye out for it. would say balloons are mostly used from zone rotations or going in for 3rd party fights. Could be used to get out of fights if other teams join in. Honestly depends when you use the balloons too. If u just drop it when you know enemies are looking at you chances are its gonna get destroyed. Whereas if you use it when enemy distracted you could get away with it. (seen it in ranked and experienced these scenarios before)

It’s because they changed the rank you get what’s called ladder points which mean u get points for where u place which mean you can get 0 damage and still get to predator you don’t get LP for kills or damage just what place u took

Valk still good with evacs because the scan. My squads been wiped so many times ballooning into zone and landing on another team on accident. With a valk thats not happening.

i dont think those towers nerfed valk, its more like a lil buff cause u can recon with her anytime and dont have to wait for her ult, so u can save the ult to escape as example and use the towers as backup and recon (i already tried that with my duo, we where basically flying around, from team to team, the whole game and ended up top 2 -i trolled there oups- so i think its pretty strong) ((im reposting this, cause i got flamed & insulted so freakin much for no reason?? cause im saying that i think those towers didnt nerf valk?? apex community, are u ok??))

I always had a problem with ranked in pred and ALGS, You are and apex predator, not a apex pus*y camper. The T-Rex a bear, a wolf and a shark aren’t camping for there kills they are hunting that’s why they are/were apex predators.

Yup. If you got zone and hold a good spot I see no reason to push out of the zone to kill 1 squad only to die to another 2 squads because you are out of position and have no escape route. I've seen high ranked players play ring and just kill people for free who are out of position

Your lobbies are easy. I literally can't play in London region. Every game is not just sweaty, it's playing against masters and preds constantly. Just for a ref - I've never had a higher then a platinum rank (had it plat 4 once I think). Yesterday my squad have wiped a single guy... I was watching him and he did not fail a single superglide >_< Game just is not playable and everyone cams as a mf even on casual non-ranking game. You are lucky to get opponents that are not neo-strafing or doing similar shit all the time :D
