as a bassist, I think some of these hand workouts could be very useful for developing endurance for long playing sessions. A few years back, It wasn't uncommon for my band to play four hour long shows... by the end of the night, my hands (right hand specifically) would be so incredibly fatigued that it would be a struggle to make it through demanding sections of songs.

Awesome content as always. Just some feedback on the audio; the person holding the camera is either covering and uncovering part of the mic or speaker on the camera/phone, or there is perhaps a loose wire/plug on the recording device that the camera person is nudging. It causes the sound to go in and out on the right side. You can hear it happen the first time at 2:12.

Devon speaks the truth. I have relatively short hands but they are very meaty. Palm size and thumb size. I have a bunch of thumb girth on the palm side and back side of my hand. One of the biggest complaints I get when pulling is that its hard to grip up with me. I definitely utilize it to my advantage. Example, a XXL glove fits tight on my hand. Finger length not so much. Lol.

I like it because I threw a liver shot on my heavy bag while couching and caused some strain. It’s a huge sand bag that’s like concrete at the bottom. Most bags aren’t the tough & I wasn’t as conditioned as normal, so cracking my thumb knuckle is more difficult at times now. It’ll mend one day. Hey don’t forget the benefit of plyometrics for increased tendon stiffness. Clap 👏🏻 push-ups will strengthen your wrists, elbows & shoulders to prevent injuries. & try the trunk rotation glenohumeral joint stretch. You’ll see the legging position in diagram similar to many a low back stretch, just hang the shoulder arm straight above the head for a few. Very nice 👍🏻! I side planks for a shoulder socket alignment change too, as one of many 👌🏻 These forearm, wrist tips are very beneficial, thanks!
