Would I get better results by lubricating the axles with, say, motor oil or petroleum jelly?

i think you may have just invented a new alternative power source for todays modern vehicles :P Definetly need to get a massive baloon onto my car to get around town

Thank you. I have wondered about that ? For years and nobody could tell me. Now, two people have and well done. Don't worry someone will say the ballon would pop because of the vacuum however not the point.

Well done. You've just helped mice on how they can sneak into a man's house for cheese without landing on any mouse traps.

Yes, for the same reason rockets do work in space. The force reacts on the exhaust gasses, not just on the surrounding air. Since there is no air resistance, this setup would even work better in a vacuum.

it would even work better as there is less air to slow the car down due to the air friction. there may be less pressure to let drain the baloon but in a vacuum the air would escape more easily from the nozzle because there is nothing to slow it down. thats what i think

Would like to see more experiments like DNA extraction from strawberries - things that are not so obvious and fun to do as well.

Explain why the car would move farther immediately after filling as opposed to after letting the elasticity of the balloon cool.

Another way to power it with potential energy: Put it at the top of a ramp.

wat u could also do was to add abt a thumb size modeling clay or any thing similar to that.den stick it at the ends of the skewer, taking note not to push in too tight until the wheels are not able to turn.tis way the wheels will not be able to come out

Please invest in a tripod, some of the shaking was a little (read lot) distracting from the content of the video. Thanks.

Hey HeadSquez! I have a type of a priori question. If you were being dragged down to the bottom of the ocean, doomed to die, what would most likely happen first? Would you first drown or succumb to the pressure? Eliminating the following extraneous variables: You have the average height, weight, & lung capacity for a male & a100lbs pulling you down. I just sent this toa few other science channels & I hope to not fall victim to the Bystander Effect. I hope someone will answer my question.

I can convert and work in both systems. I merely asked if, seeing as though they have a global audience could they have both systems measurements. If a TV show was being designed for both a US and Australian release they would have both, would they not? So why should a show with a global audience not have? + HeadsqueezeTV don't think is such a bad idea they replied and said they would take a note of it.

next time could you put the measurements in metric as well as imperial. You have a would wide audience and not every one uses feet and inches.

The conversion factors are all known you know. It's not like it's some big mystery. Be less entitled. The onus is on you to do the math if the customary units aren't to your liking; you could learn something in the process.

I could suggest several things to try but what is your situation budget per episode, license to use chemicals gases etc, ability to arrange not to be hauled off by terrorist police if you do a controlled explosion? I'd suggest 2:1 oxygen/acetylene barrel rocket ;) or affects of sulfuric acid on stuff eg meat sugar alkaline or something that makes you think holy sh#t this thing does that
