Why do I see KZbin quickstep video's where the leader starts with the left foot and another video with the right foot, Does it mean that the left foot start is dancing out of rhythm? Or doesn't it really matter? I'm confused, I thought left foot start is for Foxtrot only. I'm taking refresh lessons in September if I can find a partner, because I really want to know what is correct.

@@BallroomMasteryTV Many thanks, than it would be nice if you could count loud out, so everybody will know the lead in step is on count 4 followed by 1, 2 and, 3, 4 and etc. I will have a look again if the lead in is at 4, I'm not sure yet if I can hear it.

@RichardLucardie literally said in the Timing part of lesson. I don’t count beats and bars as that is more advanced but it’s all there. If you need more understanding I can coach you properly in my membership area. Or you can search the other video on slow foxtrot timing to understand more.
