Can't blame him. Didn't even comfort linda when mick died. She was like a mother to him. Ben and the Mitchell's ruined callum as a character even as a ballum fan I have to say it.

@@dannynix2732the mitchells made callum relevant. If it wasn’t for them callum would’ve been axed a long time ago. Callum as a character is not important and is played by a very average actor. So no ben didnt ruin callum

@@meradceu No, they didn't make him important and left him on the show because of the Mitchells. Callum was only supposed to have a guest appearance on the show, but they extended his contract for a year because the public liked him. And the initial plan was to have him and Whitney try to have a child, but that changed when they decided to make him stay with Ben. And Tony is a good actor. It's the show that never uses him properly.

The writing on this show is so bad. Even though they've known Jay for years, Ben's family mistook him for Ben's husband. Johnny knows Callum is gay, but he doesn't know he's married to Ben. I saw someone saying here that Callum finally remembered the Cartes. But that's a writing problem. They always erase or sideline Callum. They didn't do a scene of him mourning Mick's death (but they did for Alfie), and they didn't do a scene of him talking to Linda. Now they've remembered their connection with the Cartes because they need him in this plot.

Maybe when ben leaves, if callum stays, they can finally give him a personality again. I like ballum, i do but he will always be a carter to me not a mitchell. Mick died and callum acted like he couldn't care less.

​@@MickeyLu11Ummm yes. Ben is a literal murderer. He's also been involved in the human trafficking of young girls, terrorised Martin and hired a hitman to try and kill a member of his own family. The character is rotted and screwed up. Callum and Johnny would be a better and healthier match.
