There is no way to reset these types of machines in the order of jackpot. There are no chips or brains to them. It’s purely random and mechanical when the reels stop. You cannot change odds or modify a pay without changing the actual reel strips and stops on the side.

I posed Spnoslo67's comment to Dr. Pinball. His answer is below: " The lamp or camera angle does not show the "IN" from the word "INSERT". Second: the guy answered his own question. There is an internal switch that DOES reset the payout timer. And a key switch on the side of the machine. There WERE different iterations of this machine. "And the attendant need to reset........." So there is no way the casinos could EVER reset a machine??? I don't think that would benefit them."

Ah great, got the same machine, and I'm looking for tips. Then you cut the video. I repair pinball machines myself and do a pretty good job of it. But this slot machine is impossible to get there and check things with it on. I'm guessing your talking about the reset bar that pushes the button on the hopper timer. Got a manual from Liberty Belle books. Kind of weak and doesn't show any wiring diagrams. My hopper is not resetting. All fuses good and have been cleaning out all the grease someone wiped everywhere. This grease has gone solid, just like in EM pinball machines. You know the routine. Any suggestions would be helpful. ThanksRobert

Stopped when the reset information was blocked - I have a Bally Money Honey just had 3 bars drop in when I was trying to sort out the top Neon Light so was very annoyed when they dropped in. Only used for home entertainment wish I hadn't ventured here as owning a machine and not knowing all of the secrets is too frustrating

We have a Seeburg model H3BP-11, having trouble to even getting the insert coin to work. Looking for a manual. Any idea where I might get a manual as well as the coin tray?

Hi- I have had a Bally's 1046 Silver Star Electromechanical slot machine which looks a lot like yours. I had it working well about 6 years ago and just tried it the other day and there was no lights or anything. The orange light to the bottom left was lite so, I presume that there is power to it. One of the 4 fuses on the bottom center was blow, a 5amp fuse, I replaced that and still nothing. I was thinking there maybe some kind or reset on it but, could not find then, I saw your video and was quite disappointed when you didn't show how it's done. The machine is in great condition and I hate to see it not working. I have had it for over 20 years. I pushed the hopper and spinner reels into the back pins so, I think they are all fully engaged. I guess there is a reason not to show the reset. If there is another trick I sure would appreciate anything you can provide. Thank you, Dave Zurick

David: A myriad of things can go wrong with that old machine making it impossible to give repair advice. I do advise you to seek out a competent repair technician in your area. At the very least purchase a repair manual off the Web.

I have a Bally dual progressive jack-pot machine. When the progressive jackpot is hit all you have to do to reset it is open the front and moved the reels down as far as they will go and release them.

I don't work on slot machines but I can say that if you search long enougth on the internet you will find a seller who will sell you the repair instruction manual and schematics. SBF

There are two different lamps being used on top. Type #63 bulb and Type #55 bulb. They are both 7 Volt lamps.

He don’t know what he is talking about, there are no way to reset the machine except when you hit the jackpot and the attendant need to reset or do a payout higher than the machine pay out!

The payout timer stops the hopper if is keeps ejecting coins for longer than a preset time.
