Gulf Stream by Williams has a similar arrangement for lighting up the "SPECIAL" letter rollover lanes. You only have to do half the word instead of all the individual letters. Makes it alot easier to get a free ball.

Hey GreenDemonMan - Good Tip! To me Bally and Williams machines were made VERY similar. Same type of scoremotors, coils, contacts etc. I think the EM's both run the same 6v-50v wiring.

Do you know how I would make the RIGHT alley top gate give a free ball rather than a free game when Special When Lit is lit? If I understand the documentation this is part of the Extra Ball Feature.

i've seen so many games ruined by crooked operators. most of the time its pieces of plastic placed between the switches [ usually the special when lit areas ] to a F14 tomcat where they removed the ball guides so you couldn't lock balls to get multi-ball or a solar ride where they removed the red target.
