Ballyknockan Village Snowed in, Co. Wicklow, Ireland 1965 0920am 17.1.25 i recall delivering papers in snowy scenes such as this - atop the moor of my home town of a sunday, freezing my proverbials off. there's nothing amazingly stupendous about getting the mail thru or the milk or the bread or the papers thru in such horrendous weather - if you feel snow is horrendous, that is ie: it was expected to be akin to as we see, here... memories are short and filled with stuff. but not the stuff which would recollect that such weather as this aint all that bad... unless yer sat at home with no heating and it's somewhat perishing.

Let's hope we are looking out for anyone who we might think is struggling with the cold weather...those who can't get out to pick their meds up or a bit of shopping and maybe just a voice...
