I am getting tired of people who do not know anything about the fashion business and keep complaining about "who is going to buy those garments", "those clothes are ugly....". A fashion show is called a "show" because it is not simply a range of products displayed on still mannequins. Fashion design is creative art. Only about 20 to 30% of what you see in a show will actually make it into the shelves! Why do you think H&M and Zara rarely make fashion shows while they earn billions? It's simple: their only concern is marketing and sales. They will make whatever clothes fit the current trends and they are right to do so. But fashion houses like Balmain are not in that category.

This was bliss. Would i buy any of it? No, but that’s sure as hell not because I don’t want it. It did exactly what I expected and needed it to do. IT INSPIRED! I am generally not a fan of wearing anything head to toe, but Olivier presented some major silhouette combinations that I am dying to try out. I live for these KZbin comment sections. Especially when someone is yelping about “Ugly”...”No one is going to buy that!” Oh how dreadfully dead wrong they are. Poor feeble souls. GET INSPIRED HONEY!

He did cut a few jackets in a every similar silhouette but then did a very Balmain take by either spiking it to high holy hell, or layering it under PVC, which i thought was spot on. Joan of Arc meets Coco for tea. And did it in that shade of Mint. Honey I love it from both sides.

Strong 80's silhouette but most are quite ugly and unwearable, tacky Chanel-clone. Balmain has lost its identity. Olivier needs to get a new job, perhaps replacing Karl?????
