Delicious Balmoral shortbread biscuits, Inspired from Scooters visit with Queen Camilla at Balmoral. Presents and more MORE DRAMAS!.....as always.
Recipe and ingredients for Balmoral shortbread biscuits
225 g (1 cup) of softened butter at room temperature
225 g (1 cup) of plain flour
110 g (1/2 cup) of icing sugar or confectioners' sugar
110 g (1/2 cup) of cornflour
Rind of a small lemon
1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 30 minutes
Preheat oven to
350°F
160°C fan-assisted
Gas mark 4
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Sprinkle your biscuits with sugar as desired

Hi Alice I think they’re just being cautious so it’s not to cause any chaos anyway it’s not even necessary for people to start struggling to try to get to work and of course it is much smaller than New York here and a lot easier. I don’t think the people in New York would cope with it very well it’s a good excuse to be lazy. Hopefully I’m sure it’ll be okay. We have a lot of heavy snow at the moment as well as I’m speaking to you I would say that’s partly the reason take care dear friend. You mentioned that you would probably have to store some and pull out others each year. Oh, don’t! Just get another tree even if it is a 4” table tree. And add them into your garlands and wreath!! And hang on every furniture knob you see!! Don’t hide a one!!! I absolutely love your new candlesticks and tapers! With the backdrop of your saffron, musrtardy gorgeous pillows and the satiny chartreuse, viridescent of the throw on the settee just makes the colors irresistible! I am going to hunt hard for similar sticks and tapers. I hope all three of you had a wonderful new year . I am looking for more fabulous videos . Valentine’s? So, I wake up on this lovely snowy morning, in Tennessee. I cook breakfast for my family, as I always do on Sundays. After they and our doggies, Nippett and Patsy, are fed, I make myself a nice Bloody Mary, and think to myself, “I haven’t heard from dear Nicolai in a while”. I go to find one of your older videos when Lo, and behold, I have a notification that you posted a new video 28 minutes ago!! Tickled to bits!! I love all your new baubles, and I also love animals and birds on my tree. This year, I bought myself a cute little pink piggy wearing a Santa hat, and a sparkly elephant, which I adore. I made out like a bandit, this Christmas, as my grown children are always so good to me. My oldest son (Frankie 29) gifted me lovely Laura Ashley bedding, my youngest son (Tanner 25) gave me a beautiful Patricia Nash handbag, and middle child (Maggie 26…you couldn’t believe how beautiful she is!!) lovely books for my personal library….which now homes at least 1,500 books. We’re very blessed, aren’t we? I could live on shortbread and I’m glad you clarified what corn flour is! I’m also very blessed to have found you and your lovely little family. I have a beautiful Head of Christ painting that I inherited from my grandmother, that I treasure. I can’t wait to spend the year with you, Nick❤congratulations Scooter! Very impressive. I used to decorate my kitchen with pretty animal ceramic shortbread molds and I’ve never used them for cookies. I think they were from the brown paper bag company p. Never had the thistle one but believe they also so,d the stamps. This was back in the 90s.
