I made this tonight! Afraid I overcooked it a bit, but it was still very good. I'll do better next time. Served it with a green salad and corn on the cob.

Chicken breast is very unforgiving, but delicious when you nail it just right! Practice makes perfect!

Did with thighs, along with sautéed mushrooms and spinach. Side of quinoa & brown rice. Last week lol. Today again diff sides.

Hey Erik! Thanks, that is a sure sign that this was a successful recipe! I do agree, thighs do taste better though. Thanks for watching!

Just another great video and funny as well with some wicked comments. Chicken looks awsome.
@ChicagoGriller4 жыл бұрын
Haha, well there are funnier people out there, but luckily I have that meat mallet to fall back on lol
Truth be told, I prefer the skinless/boneless thighs. They are juicier, and a little more forgiving. But well, sometimes the mrs insists on going extra healthy with the chicken breasts, and who am I to overrule? lol

Wow those grill marks look fantastic. I'm not the biggest fan of balsamic, but this looks very good.

Dont have balsamic vinegar. Can I use white wine vinegar in its place?
@ChicagoGriller3 жыл бұрын
Balsamic and white wine vinegar have pretty distinct tastes, so it won't be a perfect substitute. That said, the characteristics of white wine vinegar are pretty similar and pair with honey well, so it should still taste very nice. I may have to try that myself!

Do you recommend indirect heat for chicken?
@ChicagoGriller4 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I've not done indirect heat for chicken breast, but that's not a bad idea. I typically just cook my chicken direct. That said, for thicker cuts like the one in this video, indirect would work. The timing would be similar to that of a baked chicken recipe.

@@ChicagoGriller Thanks man, I will try this recipe next time. I"m gonna do a rub version first and see how that goes. I must try your recipe as well, looks so so good !

You didn't say what temp to start the grill at once you put on the chicken.
@ChicagoGriller3 жыл бұрын
Hi Darlene! Thanks for watching. The grill is preheated and set to medium for this cook. Hope you enjoy!
