@bob johnson your comment had me except for the "black liberal", what does that matter? There are many conservative cities that are run poorly. The leadership matters not the label. I dont necessarily agree w promoting to another grade, but... if the kids don't pass and are left so behind that catching up is damn near impossible, so then dropping out is an easier option than being 25 in the 9th grade. Then they don't graduate at all and will never be able to get job. They need their diplomas. I dont know the right answer but I see the logic in behind what they're doing. Also funding is a big problem and yes its a democratic city but a lot of the leadership is republican and they don't want to give up the funds to help.

@bob johnson so what is the answer? becuae there are many corrupt white Republicans. I live in Texas and Abbott has done wrong by the people in this state. With the boarded up buildings here’s my personal opinion why it’s that way. I actually grew up in the hood myself and paid attention to the mindset we have in these communities. A part of it to me is systematic racism then another part to me is investors choose not to come into our communities due to the mentality we have as a whole. We have allowed the system to turn us into animals and how we think is how we carry ourselves. Our behaviors can cause a lot of this too but we refuse to take responsibility for how we act and choose to blame it on another man but once we genuinely take responsibility for our own lives then we can change in a way. We have to think differently. We praise the gangster image. When a child is praised for a behavior they believe it’s okay but we attack kids who choose to be nerds in these communities. You have many kids hiding themselves under an image that’s not truly them just to get accepted and not become a target. I was a nerd in my neighborhood and I was attacked by my environment. I was bullied. I was picked on. I was called weird. So in order for me to survive in my environment I became a gang member and became a bully myself. We are emotionally in survival mode due to the lack of love. A lot of this is psychological issues being passed down from generation to generation. These kids are not growing up in love but abuse and they are responding to their households. A lot of these families are broken within and then they past these ways down to their children. Kids are taught. So however a child acts then they were taught that. Etc I could keep going but check out my videos on my page.

Blacks were fooled many years ago, by Democrats. They offered welfare, and more welfare when the father isn't in the home. Also the more kids, the more money per month- all in turn for the democrat vote. And so it was a trap, affordable HUD, welfare, cheap medical- 73% of black men aren't in the homes with their kids. Until the mindset is changed- nothing will get better. By the way Democrats also was into racism with the clan and all- look who beat down MLK, while they handed out peanuts to black families- they still getting the votes. Baltimore, democrat, black council members, black DA, and Police chief, all holding people down in this poverty- but they still keep getting elected. Your story is the Truth- ✌.

I can’t understand why there are soooo many abandoned and boarded up houses. They have a new mayor so maybe he can think outside the box and try something different 🤷🏾♂️
@j.k.woryonmba42073 жыл бұрын
As a developer or realtor if you own these buildings you can rent them out and collect the revenue which in those areas, rent is about $400-800 a month for a room. OR you not fix shit on the property, let them become dilapidated, and carry the loss on the property against your income to reduce your income so you have to pay less income tax
@stefanossmitty33183 жыл бұрын
@@j.k.woryonmba4207 from what I’ve seen having worked in Baltimore a few years ago, there just aren’t enough employed people who will consistently pay rent and not tear your place to shreds so maybe that’s what’s keeping investors away. I imagine you should be able to scoop these up for 25-50k but probably more trouble than it’s worth 🤷🏾♂️
@kikibrown95483 жыл бұрын
@@stefanossmitty3318 exactly. It isn’t worth it in many of these areas. The people living there are either stoned out of their minds, have no skill or career to speak of, or are too mentally ill to do better. If you live there you have to worry about your home being broken into by the druggies, or chewed up by rats. Those that would be good tenants or buyers wouldn’t set foot in these areas. I sure didn’t. I chose to pay double and move to the county.

All the vacant homes are the result of total neglect of the city, which has been under democratic control for well over 40 ,50 years. It's only the poor communities. High crime rates, lack of jobs, poor city services, high taxes and total corruption in city hall and the police department. Every year hundreds of people leave Baltimore and I am one of them. However there are some nice areas, but it's too expensive for most people to live .
