My whole family were born and raised in Baltimore in the 1800s-1900s. Used to be a very vibrant city, and a melting pot of neighborhoods. Time, crime, drugs, factory and port closings, and exodus to the ‘burbs and beyond have left the rot and decay behind. My grandparents raised six kids in a very small 2-story (plus a basement where the heating oil was delivered), 2-bedroom/1-bath row house. My family all eventually left decades ago, but have great memories of growing up in “Charm City.” 😢

I'm a Lyft driver. I actually drove through Baltimore last Saturday and an old elderly lady I was picking up literally fell down the steps. She couldn't get up. I had to run out of my car to help her. Her granddaughter finally came out 3-5 minutes later. I didn't see any adults. It was very run-down part of Baltimore.

I was born there. Bethlehem Steel closed . And the city died. We fled to the suburbs. Couldnt live in the city anymore. Not safe.

I visited Baltimore in July this year from Australia (Adelaide) 🇦🇺 . I actually found it a fascinating and overall, pretty good city. I had so many people tell me, before going, that I was risking my life and all sorts. However, I only felt unsafe once in a gas station for a brief moment. Sure it has some depressing and deep seated problems but it has character and style. It is unique and full of potential if people there grabbed that potential, wholeheartedly and run with it, in themselves, their families and in their communities then Baltimore can and will improve and change for the better.

It's really unfortunate because a lot of the houses and townhouses in Baltimore look very nice. And some very nice parked cars as well.

Even the China Taste Food Store is closed and I wonder what the inside of the Bandalero's motorcycle clubhouse looks like? 🤔 Thanks for the tour! Rosedale says hello. 🤠👍

Mostly blue collar job families in the pictured properties. We got a big problem here. No more tax base and citizens relocating in droves.

If you are referring to the big frame house pictured in the opening sequence....house dates from the late 19th century and probably occupied until condemned. Note RED triangle. 6:33
