I do not know why they ever questioned Lamar arm strength and throwing ability. Just because he’s an all time great runner, that don’t mean he has to have passing as a weakness by default. He has been passing the ball a legit level for a while. Just because he makes a few bad decisions in big games, they try and poke holes in his game as a whole.

That defense is going to be good this year. Solid at every level from D-line, LB's, and DB's. Offense will be slow until Wilson is back but this is the template that Miami and Buffalo followed. Build up the defense and stay in games, then hope your drafted QB can figure it out.

The most frustrating part of watching the ravens is knowing Lamar missed out on more stats because some scared player couldn’t do their jobs lol. Ravens win games with the least amount of effort. This was a snoozer and Harbaugh likely told everyone to NOT GET HURT. Plus, mega respect for Flacco. D was lights out most of the game, Jets only sniffed field goal range like 4 times all game. Where are the Ravens haters out there from last week? Hiding as usual.

Jets moved the ball pretty easy through the air on BAL, had they not have fumbled turned it over in their own territory twice it would have been a different ball game. But credit to BAL for doing what they were supposed to do. Let’s see them play against an Offense that is actually capable of scoring all 4 quarters unlike NYJ

I think one player who deserves a lot of credit is the rookie punter, Jordan Stout. The Jets only got two returns in six punts. Stout averaged 48.8 yards, but what the stats don't show is the great hang time he was getting, allowing defenders to get downfield and force fair catches. On one punt, the defender got all the way behind the receiver and was waiting for the ball with him. And IIRC, that wasn't on a particularly short punt.

What a game for the Ravens! The Birds were good through the air when the ground game was stifled with injuries. Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay had an excellent day today. Hopefully, they continue to show out this season. The Jets didn't do that bad either. Adding Sauce Gardner to that defense seems to be just what the doctor ordered. Next week, the Ravens take on a Dolphins team that smacked the Patriots today. Two teams coming off big wins, it should be a good game. The Jets meanwhile match up against a Browns squad that played spoiler to Baker's first game against his old team. It'll be interesting to see if the Jets can capitalize off of a decent yet losing effort against the Ravens or if the Browns can go up to 2-0.

If Lamar maintains a high level of play the rest of the year and makes some noise in the playoffs, if you're the Ravens, do you pay him, even if his demands could potentially go up the more success he has? Does he need to win the Superbowl to validate such a contract? What happens if he doesn't get to the Superbowl and just has a respectable showing in the playoffs? This is going to be fascinating to watch play out.

As a Raven's fan who has watched every game he's played, yes he can be accurate deep but not enough. Sometimes he misses really badly when the receivers are open enough for him. He missed one pass today that was a five yard flicker, with no pressure badly too.

That was a good win. The offense took a while to excel but that was mostly due to the weather conditions in the 1st Half. Once we got going, it was off to the races. Lamar Jackson is back, and signs of him slowing down are not gonna be seen. Just don't expect a new contract yet theres football to focus on. As for the defense. They played just the way I thought they would. Dominating right from the word go and taking Breece Hall and Michael Carter out of the gameplan. I know its the Jets but this is a good win to start the year. I just hope JaWuan James and Kyle Fuller are ok. We need Peters, JK, and Ronnie back and we need them back soon. Although we didn't need them today. Next week at home against Miami who knows if we need them or not. I don't think the Dolphins will be able to blitz us with an improved O-Line like they did last year, but I'm interested to see how Miami's offense does against our No Fly Zone. Great win, RAVENS GOING TO SUPER BOWL! #BIGTRUZZ
