Baltimore's Unfortunately Violent Pennsylvania Avenue

One of the main cultural and commercial sections of west Baltimore runs along Pennsylvania Avenue. Unfortunately, this also is one of the most violent stretches of road in the city. In recent years there has started to be some investment and reductions in violence but it still remains a relatively dangerous place.

Pennsylvania Avenue was tge place of entertainment for Blacks in Baltimore. Movie Theaters, Restaurants and Night Clubs with entertainment. The Art Social Club and the Sphinx Clubs were just two on the many places that you could go to listen to Jazz. What an ERA!😊
