This is rich people nonsense, all of it. Many times 4k cameras have been sent there on a unmanned subs, easily collecting all the "science" of watching steel rust that this farce was selling as the mission. This gambit was all about "manned" missions, all about making money sending billionaires there, IN PERSON, a Disney ride for rich jerks so they can one up people at cocktail parties, or have a once in a super rich lifetime chance to bond with their ignored and disaffected son. There is submarine technology that is proven and tested, quite safe, it just can't take 4 billionaires along on the ride to make money from, so they needed to "innovate" by making up their own engineering, saying a carbon fiber propane tank and nintendo controller was plenty safe, and not having enough sense or money to test their systems first when all the worlds experts told them to. By the way, he also didn't have any money set aside to pay for the cleanup when he turned 5 people into human Jello in a hundredth of a second when the thing collapsed while the world's Navy's are sent to try to find them and now will be forced to sweep their trash off the ocean floor and the world's governments will try to find some way to keep rich jerks like this from similar costly misadventures. Went to Titanic exhibit in Boston. It was an experience that I will never forget. At the beginning of the exhibit I was filled with anticipation about what I would see. As we moved on through the exhibit there were many personal items that belonged to the passengers on the Titanic and were brought up to land. There were clothes. Suits, Uniforms that the bellhops on the ship wore. Shoes, jewelry(that belonged to Molly Brown) perfume bottles,cigar tins with the actual cigars in them. You could see thst they had been wet at one time. I'm sure that they had also been preserved by specialist that do that. Babies shoes and just so many more things. Wines, champagnes with the bottles still holding their original beverages. Jars of giant olives and other things used in the kitchen. Menu's. Food lists and how much of everything was on board before they set sale. It was the most fascinating and sad thing that I have ever seen. By the time we were at the end of the exhibit a tremendous feling of sadnesd and thoughtfulness came over me. There were pictures of the people that went down with The Titanic. There was a large circular bench with a back on it where people could sit down and think or reflect on the exhibit. There were books with blank pages where people could write their thoughts if they chose to. I did and many others did. By the end of the exhibit it left me feeling very somber but happy for the ones that did survive through such a horrifying experience.

Although the wreck must be protected, visiting grave sites in and of itself is not an issue (That being said, people should never take anything from the wreck site as a souvenir). The real issue is how people behave when they’re visiting. There’s an enormous difference between grave robbers and people who visit to pay respect to the victims.

If I had the intestinal fortitude and financial means to go see it, I think I would. I've always been fascinated by Titanic, and would never fault anyone who wants to go see it. While the risks are high, the challenge is compelling. I see similarities between Titanic and the World Trade Center. Both were wonderful works of art and engineering. I lost my only son almost two years ago……in a tragedy that had taken his life in seconds on my birthday. The grief is on another level. Many will never know this grief but it shatters you, and brings you into a state of insanity. You have to be a bit insane to survive this insanity…..the grief is horrific and devastates your whole being. I’m not sure how I’m still alive……but I’m praying for these families. God is with them….. For those criticising how these ‘rich people’ think they can do anything……..it’s ridiculous. Many of us, if we’d had the money to do something like this, would do so. I can’t blame anyone who has the possibility to explore such history not doing so. I’m sure the souls that have been lost didn’t imagine they’d implode. This MOMENT WILL NEVER COME AGAIN! ☀️ GET UP IMMEDIATELY, TRAIN YOUR SPIRIT to ACTIVATE, USE VARIOUS TOOLS to DISCOVER and PREVENT every SCHEME and DECEPTION of SATAN, and you WILL SUCCEED AGAINST SATAN, so that your LIFE EXPERIENCE can become DEEP and YOU CAN LIVE My DISPOSITION, to GROW and HAVE many EXPERIENCES in your LIFE, and you can ALWAYS FOLLOW in My FOOTSTEPS. 🙏 NOT DISCONTINUED, NOT WEAK, ALWAYS FORWARD, one step at a time, KEEP GOING KEEP GOING TO THE END OF THE ROAD! 🙏 When the seven trumpets sound again, it will be the call for judgment, judgment on the sons of rebellion, judgment on all nations and all races, and every nation will surrender before God. The glorious face of God will surely appear before all nations and all races. Everyone will BELIEVE TOTALLY and SHOUT out to the TRUE GOD without END. When I've seen Titanic footage such as this, I've never lost sight of the fact or the feeling that what I'm really looking at is essentially the resting place of 832 passengers and 685 crew members, 1,517 souls. Now the ocean there has claimed five more lives and there will be recovery operations etc for the pieces of the Titan. It makes me question when such a place will and should be left in peace.

@nathanbernabei Жыл бұрын
@adamsapple7193 It is literally both. How can it just be a shipwreck when the majority of these lives lost were dragged down to the bottom? Yea...bodies are gone but that was their final resting place.

@@nathanbernabeiI mean how do you feel about ground zero in NYC? 2753 people died there that day, and we built right on top of it again and people hang out there all the time. Explain how it’s any different.
@nathanbernabei Жыл бұрын
@CableReadyTechnoSIut It wouldn't be any different if this site was easily accessible. And the WTC was built upon as a memorial. It's above ground and people pay their respects. And yes it in itself is a resting place for those people. Either way tragedies attract all sorts of people. For respectful reasons to understanding and seeing things for themselves. To even the energy of it. Thing is, that area was cleaned up and made a place for people to gather and understand history. The Titanic is a completely undisturbed grave that cannot be fixed up for tourism. It is in the exact spot it landed with the unfortunate souls left inside rotting away.

The problem is this expedition wasn't special or anywhere near the first time it's been done. Plenty of scientists and engineers know what it takes to make it to those depths and far deeper and survive. They've been doing it for years now, consistently and safely. This company neglected every bit of that vital knowledge that has been passed down in the hopes that they could "push innovation" in their unclassed sub. The only thing they accomplished for humanity is showing what happens when you disrespect nature and science we fully understand. rip to the 3 "mission specialists". Rush and Paul can absolutely rot they knew full and well what was coming continuing to make those dives

They didn't even make it to the wreck though. Should've never dived, so many issues known to all before it launched that day and numerous dives called off due to these issues. It got caught in a ghost net 2 dives before the last and a bunch of things were damaged. The dive before the one it imploded was called off due to the issues and bad weather. They're lucky they had successful dives in that thing, but they just didn't know when to retire the thing so it retired itself under the weight of 400 atmospheres.

I live in Nortgern Ireland just outside of Belfast. I live 10 metres from the sea facing Belfast lough where the Titanic traveled from belfast shipyard where she and her sister ships were constructed. My great grandfather worked in the shipyard during the ships construction. He was a coil winder for her electrics. His son my grandfather also worked in that same yard long after the sinking. I have stood many times on the Titanic and Olympic slipways and Thompson dry Dock at the site. A fact of interest. The tompson dry Dock is open also to tge public you would see a steal riveted rusting plates still holding out the water which is of the same steel batch and rivets that went into the ships as this Dock actually had to be lengthened to accommodate the hulls. To see and touch this used steel plated water gate and rivets is spooky.
